However, it’s the performance of Gucci, the group’s profit center, that determines how the entire thing runs. There is a hurry-up-and-wait feeling to the Gucci situation that will only be resolved by either a tremendous uptick in sales or a creative change, despite the green shoots as accessories ramp up and fresh ready-to-wear arrives in the stores. The business is significantly smaller than it was two years ago, and while everyone is sort of sick of talking about whether Sabato De Sarno will stay or go, they can’t stop talking about it, either. This is a case where money will fix everything.

lol sorry but what IS THIS? love it when a designer from a "luxury" house rocks up in his self-designed coat that not only does not fit him (again, HE designed it!) but also hast the worst should line ever? and a sleeve lining so cheap that it is see-through?? I get you Ancora, if my coat looked this bad, I also wouldn't bother to steam it...

Not that it really matters, but I don't think the crazy frozen botox forehead and the LA style veneers really help make him appear more genuine...

He always looks not good on photos..... He has that rigid smile.... Not easy to tage a good foto of him......

You can find the same coat at Zara and with a better fit....lol

Not only he exits but as CD of Gucci....i hope they are just making time waiting for someone on their minds to be available...or until a contract is signed...

I wonder what KING KARL would have thought of Virginie's CHANEL tenure, Kim's Fendi and Sabato.

you can't put VV on same level as Ancora , personal taste aside she was highly successful at Chanel and without any pretensions of being better than her predecessor unlike ancora guy constant piss over on what Alessandro did with Gucci before him.

also KL commercial Chanel output was not that much better than VV , i will repeat .....have we forgoten how people were constantly complaining about KL´s Chanel being old and out of touch and boxy and logo heavy.

yes KL was unique and a show man and witty and entertaining but factually his designs were also questionable and super commercial.

I love love KL but i am also fair to his shortcomings as a masterful creative designer, i like that VV respectfully did what she could and was successful with it , Ancora wish to have 1 % of VV success at Chanel at Gucci.
