Sabato De Sarno - Designer, Creative Director of Gucci

Oh is it ? I read in architecture newspaper that they rented space after former Dunhill space which was smaller. Haven’t been there ofc, my taste held me at the bay…
The old bond st end of the street is more more jewellery focused these days so suits rolex better.

what is this new colour?
its not new its been in store furniture with Alessandro for years ..... that's so confusing then to have ancora to make it return with all the ancora red clothes and acc and packaging .....

Does anyone know if it’s true that Marco Maria Lombardi, women’s runway design director at Gucci, also just left the company? His last instagram post looks kinda cryptic.
It's his only post from 2024 that has Not been liked by Sabato...you know what that means...

Suzanne Koller and Alastair Mckimm liked the post…
Umm...this is weird...however they are Not Gucci employees. They might work together with Marco Maria at another brand or maybe they Just wanted to show him solidarity...it's how ever very suspicious that out of 10 2024 posts from Marco Maria the only one Not liked by Sabato is that particolar one. Maybe I am Just speculating and assuming things 🤣

No,but both have worked for Gucci in the past....
I've checked and there are more than one post that Ancora didn't liked....and they still follow each other...so far...

...even a return to licensing deals could be on the table...

Yeah, right! Because repeating the same 80s mistake, that put Gucci near bankruptcy in the early 90s, is the best idea to save Gucci!!

The brand is dead, they need miracle. A few month ago I was in my capital city with my friend which doesn't interesting fashion and when we were next to Gucci shop, she told: Gucci is tacky. Chanel and Hermes too much logo on stuff when you see this on Instragram. For the ordinary people this company is synonym someting bad.

Ni Ni and Debbie Harry, both celebrated actresses in their own right, yet I cannot fathom the disparity between Alessandro’s Gucci and Sabato’s Gucci campaign shots. One actually showcases the RTW and accessories with an instantly recognizable Gucci look, the other, well… you can’t even tell it’s Gucci. What were they thinking? It’s like Sabato took the “I love when you see the people under the clothes, not the clothes on the people,” too literally.

Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest. Any leads to that Hedi Slimane joining Gucci rumour? Screenshots of that IG post is circling around in China as well.
