Saint Laurent Paris F/W 14.15 Paris

If his customers were 14 year old girls, I would think this was pretty awesome. But what grown woman could relate to those little kids on the runway, it's almost a little offensive.

amen to that. Even my teenager says it looks like H&M

This 100%.

I HATE this. I'm actually glad he dropped the Y. This is - again - not worthy of being a YSL collection

I have seen a lot of sellouts online, but it isn't this rebellious rich schoolgirl stuff, it's the basic black stuff (that's actually adult-appropriate) that is nowhere in this show.
Keep in mind, too, that "SOLD OUT" can often mean that they've sold the - say - 5 dresses they bought in that style. "SOLD OUT" doesn't necessarily mean thousands, even hundreds, were even bought by customers.

Honestly I wish I could muster the zeal that some of the negative commentators have for this collection, or for Saint Laurent at this point. It just doesn't elicit much of a response from me anymore, which is a shame because the shock of the new was really the biggest thing that Slimane had going for him in the first place. I don't love it, nor do I hate it. It doesn't excite or repulse, which is kind of a shame. At least that grunge collection a year ago managed to piss me off for a minute.

Truth is I don't hate the clothes, in fact I've never hated the clothes. More often than not there are some really cool, really wearable pieces in the mix, astronomically overpriced though they may be. But at only four seasons into the Slimane era the shows shouldn't already feel like a case of going through the motions.

what a complete waste. at that point they should just shut it down and stop him from ruining the brand and name any further

Yes, it's very common to buy a single size run in designer. Still, I've seen this on many SL items in the New Arrivals section of popular online retailers.

Designed for 18-25 year olds. Bought by 40+ year old women. The rational thinking is none existent.

Exactly, some retailers will sometimes only buy say 3 size 16's for their company and it mostly goes on previous season statistics as to what was popular sizes the previous season excluding sale items and also comments from sales managers to the requirements for each store if they missed any opportunities the previous season and improvements for the new season.

i like 3 of the coats i've seen in this, and that is it. disgusting, bye

his worst one yet, at least in the others i liked some of the dresses

the styling is such a crime..some of those coats with the dresses  they look AWFUL

...and this whole 'cool, 60s rock kids' theme is a snorefest and tired as sh*t....
The casting is pretentious too. Edie Campbell and 45 other drippy, sleepy, bored-looking zombies...
Move it along Slimane.

Apparently the models all arrive late to the show venue and none of them could wear the Saint Laurent collection:D That's why it looks so pedestrian

^ How is that possible? Everyone does fittings, right? Even 'cool' photographers from LA?

I miss Stefano Pillati... A LOT! Theres some YSL vibes on the clothes but nothing else.
Somebody said this looks like an H&M show. An H&M show is better than this, 'cause is H&M and they show the best they have, this is YSL, without th "Y". And i think that loosing that "Y" made them loose a lot! I just can't uderstand way Slimane wasn't fired yet. This makes me sad... really sad! YSL was so glamorous. Now it's... this.

This literally looks like Topshop or H&M. I do think it's an improvement from his previous collections since I actually like some pieces, especially some of the coats. But I would pay a maximum of $100 for those pieces, and not a single penny more. It shocks me that this brand can have a high fashion market.

I really like some of the outfits, it seems hedi is clinging to his skinny ideal of women(girls) yet another season... the pieces are totally wearable which will make them easy to sell
