Salvatore Ferragamo F/W 14.15 by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

As odd as it may sound, I think they all work well together. But once again MCB just steals these two shots but overall I love this.

This reminds me of M&M's old Hugo campaigns they did around 2004/2005.

I really like the setting, but the styling & cast seem so disjointed. You have Suvi with blonde hair, Amanda with red lipstick & MCB with a matte face all in one shot. It makes no sense. I think they should've just given everyone their own shots & not put them together.

Amanda is so impossibly, unobtainably beautiful she never works well in group shots. Just not a lot of girls that can live with her on camera. Really like the men's ads though.

Amanda is the star here for me. I don't know if it's the red lips (besides being utterly gorgeous as always) but my eyes go straight to her and only her.

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS: Salvatore Ferragamo creative director Massimiliano Giornetti tapped Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the Italian fashion house’s fall ad campaign, which marks a departure for the brand: Instead of relying on a single model, the images feature a coterie of pretty people.

Suvi Koponen, Mariacarla Boscono, Amanda Murphy, Felix Hermans and Jason Anthony make up the cast, posing against a surreal, ultrasaturated natural backdrop of bright blue flowers and violet sky. Ferragamo’s Fiamma handbags make a cameo, in materials such as black crocodile and calfskin with gold hardware handles.

Hair is by Garren Defazio and makeup by Lucia Pieroni.

The campaign breaks this month, with a small selection of images featuring Hermans and Anthony, and the full gamut of men’s and women’s shots will run across international media by early fall.

I love it!!! one of the best campaign this season.

Amanda steals the show although I like the ad campaign as a whole.

Such a gorgeous setting and something somewhat "new" from M&M...but Suvi and MCB were wasted here, surprisingly Amanda totally outshines them and pulls the focus right onto her in each image.

The menswear shots are a lot more successful as the models compliment and balance each other out looks-wise.
