i dress "indie" style but i wear tapered jeans (not straight leg)...and i spend quite a lot on clothes but i think vintage findings are superb as well! i also have my hair cut differently than 99% people in finland. hehhe
i dont see too many "pissis" girls or kids rockin my style in tampere or in helsinki..i think the supposingly indie style that they are trying to pull of is concentrated on the offerings of h&m and vero moda. i like to dig deeper than that to find my clothes and make is as personal as possible. of course, occationally, h&m has some ok stuff to offer..

sharma i think those pics are much better than the 'real' swedish streetstyle no offence to anyone, but i just find the streetstyle in sweden (esp. in stockholm) to be rather dull

same here! i mean, yeah cool, they're being original and they're doing their own thing but it's so worn-out/clichè/michael-monroe-hanoi-rocks-wannabe.. it's just needs an "oomph!"..something of their own. maybe a bit more minimalistic, just influences from glamrock but with a touch of something personal, i don't know.
