I know this might not be a place to ask this question but I desperately need help. I just current got hired at Nordstrom. My first day is in the nxt 2 weeks. As a sale associate, what shoes would be appropriate for work besides lace-up? Any sartorialist in here, please help!!!!

I'm assuming you're working at the store and not in corporate. If so, I would take a look at their site online and get a feel for what styles/brands/types they're stocking right now. If you can come close or match, that would say to me that you are current & in-line with their thinking.
