I've been debating over these TopShop ankle boots myself. I love the similar ones from Chloé (the ones in that odd greyish blue color), but these I wasn't sure about. I'd give them a tiny nay, because the problem I have with these is that I wouldn't know what to wear them with. They're too plain, I guess.

i need a nice pair of flats.

my first choice was a Jil Sander square-toe slipper but i can't find a pair anywhere. i don't even know the collection they're from.

like this, without the heel. (if anyone knows, i'd appreciate it so much!)

in the interim i'm looking at crocodile loafers, and i'm torn between:

[A] i love the color and texture, but its shape is so pedestrian.

by all appearances it's perfect, but i'm skeptical. could be the long vamp; it's too assertive.

[C] nice shape and color (but a tad too dark), but i don't really like the tassels, and it looks a little worn overall.

i'd be glad to have your opinions!

Tondo, YAY to all of those shoes. I understand that you think the Lanvin pumps are a bit pedestrian, but I would still wear them! They're lovely.
I love pair B, too, and pair C. I'm going to give pair B the largest yay. I love pair C but I, like you, dislike the tassels. I don't know why- I normally love tassle loafers- but there's something about the tassels on the third pair of shoes that just doesn't do it for me. Also, I think the texture of pair C is much less appealing than the textures of pairs A and B.
So, basically, I think you should get either pair A or pair B.

Nay. There's something wrong about them but I can't really place it... The heel is bad, the platform looks off too. Sorry. If you have to get them, I prefer the brown ones.

luisa I can't put my finger on it but I just don't like them. If I had to go for a colour though it would be black but I say save your money for a better pair of killer heels.
psylocke I think I would like them better if they were like brouge-y but I think the studs are a nice touch so I guess with the right outfit.. it's an if-that's-your-style yay.
