I love the first two pairs. The third pair is nice. Im not a fan of velcro or the wooden/stacked heel though. The last is simple, but if I didnt know they were CL's, I would have thought they were cheap. All of them are wearable and can be pulled off.

I would love to see your shoe collection if you bought these four at once!

Seems like you either love short boots or you're looking for boots in Post #700.
* the first ones get a (Moderate) Nay! from me. I don't like these too much.
* I'm going Yay! for the shooties in the second picture. I don't like the color much, though. Black leather or patent leather would be better. I may even like them in a bold red color.
* I'm going Nay! on these straitjacket ankle boots. They don't look great at all to me. I'm not going Big Nay, but they're just not as lovely.
* (Slight) Yay! to the fourth pair of boots. Again- the color is the deterrent (if any).

Thanks alot for your comments!)) I will have to see them in person, and then decide which will go back.
As for the broke student budget - I used to be there as well)) But I work in IT for very long now and with time grew absolutely obsessed with shoes.. But again, since I work in IT, I don't have much free time for shopping. So internet is my friend, especially trustable online shops, that send you shoes/clothes, you try them on and send back if you don't like them, without any need to go to Amsterdam and search for a parking solution!! (I live in a very small town in NL..)))

Thanks Yeah I was thinking less obtuse laces, something a bit more delicate and unnoticable, then I thought maybe the shoes wouldn't be strong enough on their own without them

I guess those are shooties in Post #709. Not a bad pair of shoes to prepare for warm weather season with. I can see them being paired with a lovely knee-length floral sundress (as an alternative to pumps or sandals). They are not all that bad to me. So tab me for Yay! for those. I've seen certain shoes in this thread that have nice shoes made ugly by poor design, whether with the heel or with a horrid, off-key platform base. This shoe has no such flaw with either the sole design or the heel design. These are shoes I'd go take a chance with for sure.

These heels (United Nude 'block ankle strap'). I'm conflicted. In a way they're quite badass, but they're also on the verge of outlandish. Opinions?

8Greeneyes8 Wow! Ok, generally, I don't like heels that are a block as I think they are quite vulgar, however, when they are that blatent it makes the heel a little feature rather than looking like a bit they forgot to streamline into the rest of the shoe. I think it's actually the ankle straps that throw them off for me though. On a very brave day, it would be a yay.
