Don't just focus on different. It doesn't make anything better just because it's different. I always say "different-good" and "different-bad." I just don't like lace-ups all that much. I will offer a (moderate) Yay! because I think they (Post #879's boots) don't look bad at all. If you want some flat ankle boots, those are not as bad to me.
