i'm not sure if i will buy the bordeaux ones..but i prefer them too... we'll see maybe i'll find my perfect pair somewhere else...

Total Nay! to the booties in Post #544. If your friend wants them, I'm not stopping you. Those are terrible-looking shoes (counterattack me at will. No stranger to disagreement in five years on tFS) with almost no redeeming or pleasing qualities to make them even worth recommending. I'd go Absolute Nay, but they aren't TOO ugly for me to say "you'd rather get UGG boots rather than those."

If you friend wants them, fine. They're still nay-worthy in my eyes. It is the spirit of giving after all. I guess that also includes ugly shoes...

Squizree, Nay. If your friend wants them, definitely get them. Otherwise, they are not appealing. And I'm all for HIGH heels but they look way too impractical.

Lot of shoes in Post #556...

* I'll go (Moderate) Yay! for the open-toe slingbacks. They look alright to me. Nothing super-chic or anything, but they're... okay.

* Whether with some skinny or short/cropped bottoms or hiding under a pair of flared or bootcut pants, it's going to be a Yay! from me. Not a problem with these loafer-like wedges.

* Not many lovely elements of this pair of cutout booties, so I will only go as high as (slight) Yay! for the booties here. My normal inclination is to say nay and calling them straitjackets for your feet and not having any real sense of style. But remember- I've since come full circle on open-toe boots. These are not bad. If the boots didn't look too much like electric tape surrounding a chunky wooden heel, I might go a little better on these. Despite that cheap shot I just mentioned, they're okay to me.

* I'll have to Nay! the chunky oxford-like shoes. Not too lovely to me to recommend.

* First off, I love the black cherry color for those pumps. I'll go Yay! on these pumps. They are some nice-looking pumps to me.
