i love shorts, they're amazing for summer. I've got the darkbrown linen h&m ones everyone's talking about too and some really really nice, really short, beige ones from Mango, which i like even more. I usually wear them with cute, discreet heels and a loose shirt, or as quoted with a long or 3/4 sleeves shirt.

i think if the shorts are the right colour and style they can look really good with footless tights. i tried this a couple of weeks ago when i really wanted to wear my new shorts but it was too cold to wear them alone. They are kinda tweedy looking one's and i wore them with black footless tighs, a couple of loose vest tops and cream and gold flats.

Yeah Mango has some nice ones. I bought a white pair there yesterday; reach just above the knee, with a buttoned cuff. I wore it today with a dark brown braided belt, and a black buttondown shirt (but with most of the top buttons undone.. ), sleeves rolled up. Some embelished thong flats after the heels I was wearing started killing me. Turned out nice.. I love all the shorts out now, but I couldn't find a single pair at H&M!

It seems so hard to find shorts in a non-bermuda short length this year...I only have one pair, which I absolutely love, they're khaki colored and by Theory, they're rolled up at the bottom and have buttons on the side...really nice fit, really nice looking...otherwise no options around...I never wore shorts with shoes that have heels before this year, but I have to say that I really like the look a lot more than with flat sandals, it really showcases your legs.

Yesterday I went to H&M to find the shorts which my best friend got ( black shorts with satin belt) but they didn't have my size anymore I have to go today again to check out the other H&M store , I want them in Black so much. They also have them in grey but that is not really my color. I hope I will find the black ones today

I am wearing a lot of shorts this season too. My fave's are Meli Melo's denim bermuda shorts, the bermuda shorts from Abercrombie, Hudson's bermuda cropped jeans... the bermuda shorts somehow lengthens my legs. For shorter shorts I like Ladies of the Canyon, with the pleats in the front. So comfy!

and i wear them all the time.

i love them with tailored button up shirts and stiletto slides

ive recently seen lindsay lohan with silk shorts and footless tights, rachel mcadams with silk shorts and footless tights and nicole richie with silk shorts
