i'm short, i don't think height has anything to do with it. Some shorts don't suit me. You just have to find shorts that suit you. Mk and Ashley wear shorts all the time. Not that I'm a fan but Nicole Richie is short and she wears them.

i am looking to get some shorts for spring/summer...
i don't believe in shorts during the winter...
looks too 'try hard'...

The only new thing about shorts is that now it's trendy to wear them with heels. I like that look a lot because unlike a mini skirt and heels, it doesn't look sl*tty.

So I just bought a great black trouser short on my lunch break from Express, very cute, cuffed, and only $50!

i think that shorts with stilettos looks sl*tty. sorry. and also like you're trying way too hard to be "fashionable".

I love shorts though. I bought a silk pair with a big bow detail on them from max azria collection and im dying to wear them. but it's still in the 40's here. grr.

^^obviously, it depends on the type of shorts. if they are denim and cut like underwear, it might look sl*tty. if they are a little longer and clean, it's not going to look sl*tty. also depends on the heel too.

i wore my shorts for a club in finland when it was like -7 C. lucky for me im now in california and get to wear my shorts more than just to go out..i wore mine with a wife beater top and high heels.. looked very cute!

my other pair are longer and pinstripe so i can wear them to work too. yay!

meh I see some girls wearing shorts with tights here and I think it can look quite cute. It's not always done well but I have seen it done quite well here.

Well, I've for a long time tried to avoid shorts, because I found I didn't have the legs for them. I'm short, and shorts tend to make legs look even shorter. But as shorts are everywhere right now, I caved in

The two first are the same shorts. They're black and you sorta roll 'em up a bit at the legs to make them shorter. The last pair is just above the knee black with pinstripes. It's cold here, so I wear woolen tights underneath. And when I wear shorts with heels, my legs don't look so short (the pic in the middle I am wearing flats, the two others with heels). Can't wait for warmer weather so I can get rid off the tights!

I have been wearing shorts all winter in NYC. Granted I have a longer coat, walking around, but thick tights are good. I just made sure to always have a scarf on my neck to take the chill off.
