I so many of those shorts - especially the johnson ones, and the loose cuffed ones..... but I'm stuck being really tall, and pale as a sheet. I don't think that would work. rah!

i have those rebecca taylor shorts in post 223...i absolutely adore them. they kind of look funny in pictures on websites...but worn right they are really cute. i have kind of gone shorts crazy this season. i bought a ton of pairs. hey, you don't have nice legs forever, might as well do it while you can.

Ah, shorts... the summertime staple. I don't really wear shorts in public anymore. I'm more of a jeans guy.

It's funny that shorts are being mentioned in this thread because I was looking online at some women's shorts which may be sort of a sucessor to gaucho pants. The popular girls and juniors online store, Daisy Maze { http://www.daisymaze.com } recently has an item known as "Flo Shorts." These shorts really have that skirt-like look, but they are shorts which are about as long as most casual shorts today. And by the way, the website says that it looks good with stretch leggings. Don't believe the website! I hate the look of short bottoms with leggings. The look is extremely cheesy and unflattering. Some people say gauchos aren't flattering. Well if you believe that, then this is worse. Think about it- stretch leggings under shorts... if you're irked out, that's normal.

If these shorts haven't been mentioned in this thread, then what do you think about these shorts I mentioned from Daisy Maze?

Johnson shorts

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of shorts very similar to Johnson but cheaper? At $225 a pop, it's too pricey for me.

I bought a pair of navy shorts from Mango..quite cute. I'll wear them with red flats or heels.
It's annoying though that 1.5 years ago when I was hunting down for shorts I could barely find any! But now that they are 'trendy' they're everywhere. Siiigh.

I have a sizing question for you ladies (and gentlemen)!

So...I heard that Johnson shorts were cut smaller, so it is better to size up. I wear jeans size 24, and am usually a 00 or a 0. I live in Philadelphia and went downtown to look for these shorts and only found them in a size 2. But the size 2s basically fell off me! Now I'm not sure if I should even order them online because I'm worried that a size 0 will still be too big (since they are cut super low). Do they manufacture size 00s?


Does anyone know anything about this? The shorts are soooo cute!
