Supermodels Where Are They Now?

Hi everyone,

I recently found a great buy in a second hand bookshop, "Arthur Elgort's Models Manual" This is a great book mainly consisting of Supermodels photographed by the legendary Arthur Elgort (who infact discoverd Christy Turlington)!

Growing up in the Mid 80's and 90's I find that some of the supermodels back then were everywhere, some are still around i.e Cindy, Naomi, Janice Dickenson ect... ect ... However Some of the Supermodels of yesterday have vanished? I'm curious ... Thus this brings me to the topic "WHERE ARE THEY NOW"? Ohhh and do they look different have they aged or kept there once sort after beauty.

I think she's retired now. She's married and has a daughter.

Theer were rumours of her coming out of retirement a year or two ago, but I guess they were just rumours.

Wonder how she looks now. I still find her old pics, and some of teh old runway clips of her mesmerizing. Damn she could walk!

Emma Sjöberg has her own TV show (her second one). She's married with two kids, Tyra(!) and Eli. Her husband is a well-known Swedish movie critic.

Carla Bruni is now a very succesful singer in France... Her music is quite good, not something you could expect from an ex model ... Her songs are quite beautiful, and she now writes song for other (famous singer). She sings in french with a really tiny voice ... her album really was a hit one or two years ago

What about Paulina Porizkova? I remember she was HUGE when she did the Estee Lauder campaign. Then she did a terrible movie with Tom Selleck and disappeared!

Seems someone wrote about her recently - like she is spending time raising a family now? She was around for a longish amount of time but never saw much of her outside of that super famous and perpetually beautiful lipstick? ad that was everywhere -- The gallery you posted here is the most I have seen of her in one place.
