oh! well i've been working on things, but i haven't had the money for processing...isn't that the saddest story ever? i have a few things printed from couple months ago...let me look through the vast archives.

thank you!

i feel you:cry:

looking forward to seeing something! we poor artists have to stick together:lol:

ok, here are 2 that i had at the ready. these are from a shoot i did with a couple friends who had a vision that i kept trying to change (hee...) to serve my own evil purpose, but they obviously were the ones with the vision, so these 2 are my favorite from that shoot. the others just didn't seem to have any life to them, to me (my friends haven't seen them yet) they seemed really static, and aren't really my style..the colors are good, but i'm just not really happy with them. so these 2 are my favorites. i like the blurry one without their faces the best of all of them, and i did a lot of editing to that one in photoshop because there was a table behind them that i didn't want. can you tell?

thanks so much for sharing! i'm not sure which one i like better. colours and composition in the second are beautiful, also i like the sense of vanishing...
but in the first, i love the situation. a bit akward even but very personal.
you never cease to amaze.

 anna you're so kind! i'm glad that showing you (and the rest of fashionspot) yields new opinions for me because i get so accustomed to looking at my own work that i start really critisising myself...like, i'm really unhappy with that shoot, but i just see the things that i think went wrong, not the positives that others might see.

if i can get the nerve, i'll post a few more. but for now i must off in the rain!

 thank you!

this isn't necessarily a critisism on your photography, pamela, but i'm having a hard time with the model's body in the first picture...it's a bit strange looking.

but otherwise! i like them. i agree with anna...i like the second one the best. although i wish her knee and head weren't cut off. but it's a beautiful picture..i love the lighting.

good work!

:flower: See I have a complete different opinion on the first one.. I absolutely love the structure and abstractness of how her body is bent/shaped... it's hands down my favorite one of the series. As for the cropping, I shot it full frame so there is no cutting.. but I crop into parts for more graphic nature.. it's my "thing". I'm hoping to continue the series soon.. we'll see what happens. B)

I totally feel you on that one.... it's like food or processing? Processing usually wins.

i know exactly what you mean. i think we have very similar aesthetics, but just different ways of excecuting them.

i think it's refreshing

hi, new member here and i wanted a quick read from this group on a test we shot in NYC last week. Model is Anya from 2NY models, MUA, hair and styling by Lani Todd. Lingerie by La Perla. Images shot on Nikon D2X. Any thoughts, critiques, comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

hello glenn, reminds me of a 60's detective crime scene (very good) maybe just a bit more dramatic accessories to create a real scene, or a back ground to emphasize the reaction of your model. This is not criticisms, this is what I ask myself everytime, what is missing to make it better? just a thought.

I am located in NYC, a senior @ parsons, majoring in graphic design. I just started shooting last summer, right now assisting some fashion photographers and trying to do some tests on my own. I'm still learning and looking back, i'm still not satisfied at my photos LOL, but i learn alot on set so it's cool. anyway here are some of my photos. feel free to critique. and francesca, i love your work..you have a unique eye, work is similar to 2 photographer friends of mine.
