But am now slowly coming back to fashion.

Even though I notice that some of you have been members here since 2005 ... you must have been lurking! So ... Welcome to tFS, jayemef, linus and ilovefake! Thank you all for for sharing.

Ilovefake ... very nice, love the mood and she's a great model, too. Jayemef, I like the middle one the best ... sort of "Nylon" magazine. And Linus ... very unique feel to these, the pastel colors, and especially the 20's vibe on the 3 on the right.

We have so much talent here at the Fashion Spot ... it totally amazes me!

Hi Derek and Welcome to tFS!

I'm certainly not one to critique the technical aspects of anyone's photography since I'm not a trained photographer myself ... but you've got an edgy fashion vibe to your work that I like. Nice work!

But ... I have to say that I find the site itself a bit distracting and hard to get to the images. Then I didn't see the scroll bar right away, so it took a few times looking at differnt numbers to notice that there was more than one picture there.

I've been told by many people ... agents, photographers, art directors ... that the people that hire won't take any time on a complicated flash site ... they don't have time or the patience. So they usually just move onto the next photographer. I've heard that they like thumbnails so they can quickly review what is on the site and then easily pull up any images that interest them.

Just food for thought, since you asked for feedback.

i totally agree with everything bette said and i have more to add: i can't even OPEN your site..i get to the main page, but then it doesn't work for me. am i missing something?

a few pages back we happened to get into the same conversation, and as a photographer myself with experience in art direction, graphic design and photo editing, i have to say that bette's points are SPOT ON. a simple site is best when what you want to show off is your photography work, not a flashy website.

i wish i could see your work though! i've seen it before, is there anything new?
