I remember that there was once something about April 2021 on the EIC’s Instagram Story.

Maybe that’ll be their first issue or they’ll launch on April.

Few years ago they wanted transform online website (style.com) into high fashion online shop. Next they sold style.com shop to Farfetch because people didn't buy clothes from style.com. They invested 100 millions and lose. Probably they loan some money for invest from bank. Second problem is american ad market which change becaus designer prefer buy online ad and a lot of departamnet store stopped producing big catalog for magazine. The office in Manhattan belong to Conde Nast and they are starting rent for diffrent company.

Hey guys any idea how much a model charge for an advertorial in a magazine or for social media? For a big brand?, or magazines still pay the low rate 100/200 Euro? Thanks for the help!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just realized that Emmanuelle Alt's tenure is now longer than Carine's? Alt is now officially on her 10th year (started February 1, 2011)! Time flew by.

Not surprised, they haven't been doing any original content in over a year. What's the point of a magazine filled with generic reprint content?

Yeap! Her first years were average, not bad, but not brilliant. VP started to look that good in 2017, the same year that Lord Voldemort and Edward Enninful became EIC, and near to the Weber/Testino/Demarchelier scandal. To quote Austin Power, they've lost their mojo, and VP got stronger among the rest. Alt is cool, the only critique is the lack of diversity on her covers.

So did Bazaar Italia decide to forego ever having a print issue?

I would love to see that! I don't remember if this magazine hired the former art director of VI. You can see some L'Uomo guys working for Icon and they are making good stuff.
