One version of the August issue came bundled with a bag. Was it the only month of 2022 running a promotion like that? Might account for such high sales at an otherwise slow-moving time of year.

I'm really happy and surprised that Mona and Ugbad have their best selling cover in 2022! Sincerely? I expected a better performance from Lily Collins... Does anyone know why November always has the worst sales? Always like this, in every year!

No wonder we're not seeing any signs of progress in Vogue France. They're pulling decent (if not solid) numbers... better than Alt's last few years iirc.

What's worse is, I don't even remember MOST of these covers.

Sad.

Yeah I think the Vogue France sales number isn't bad.. they have more celebrities on the cover though, and I think the overall aesthetic of the magazine has been much more commercial than Alt's VP.

Can’t wait to see the numbers of Bazaar France next year.

@DK92 can you post the number of Marie Claire and Numero?

Vacation month in France. People buy more magazines during summer :)

Marie claire sales are so high (especially the september issue), good for them !

French Vogue, like Italian Vogue, has never been a big seller. In fact, it was teetering on being shut down in the 90’s. The truth is, American and British Vogue are the reason the lights are kept on at VF and VI. It’s always been that way.

You bringed the point here. Want to know how VI is doing it after Farneti.

Even Vogue US doesn't sell well depending on who's on the cover... But in terms of content, VI and VP have always been superior to VUS and VUK!

I vehemently disagree with that. It depends on the decade you’re talking about. When I was coming along in the 70’s, nobody cared about either VF or VI. The dominant fashion magazine on the European continent was Elle by a very wide margin. Time changes things and I’ve lived long enough to see many changes. So many magazines have come and gone or completely changed formats. You’d be surprised.

Mix Wei is Editor In Chief of W China

Vogue Cz Editor In chief and the Creative Director are out from the magazine..

According to the publisher Michaela Seewald Vogue CS will return in the fall of 2023. So it's not over! Unfortunately, I feel it will come back very commercial, full of reprints, like Spanish Vogue or German. So sad!
