The Chelsea Girl Look

What the heck? I didn't start this thread. Must be a gliche in the tFS matrix.

^ yes it's a server problem....

I'd love to see more pics of this trend....

How many trends are going to follow Sienna/Edie anyway? I am just getting bored w/it. We need to find a style that is cool and edgy, but completely different from her style!

I like this trend a lot too, a few pictures of the movie

These are a few pictures from MaryQuant.com.
She was the inventor of this trend, or at least that is what I have read.

i dont dress mod or like edie but i love it when people pull it off right. this shirt is trying way too hard

I agree. The style and shape of it is nice, but having pictures of Edie plastered all over your body just to achieve a "look" is going too far.

I would say Emilio Pucci almost captured the Chelsea girl in come of his Fall 2006 collection.

I think this is the coolest trend to come out in a while, and the 1st pic in post #36 is so inspirational! keep the pictures comin!

These are just some pictures that remind me of Chelsea Girls. They aren't all neccesarily part of that style, but I think they all have certain elements to them that capture that look.

it's an adorable look I'd like to see a new look other than have trends come back and be re-created like everyother year in the past 6-10 years. I love the whole Edie/Warhol style it's very unique. If there had to be any look I'd love to re-create this would be it.

I love this look. I hope it only remains cool for the serious fashionistas (like us, hehe)- i don't want it hitting the tacky high street shops and being worn everywhere!! I  the edie look/sienna's mod look, but now that the stripey tops and leggings are everywhere, it's being ruined for me!! Anyone feel the same?

Me!!:o I liked Sienna, the boho style, that 70's influence and then Edie and (always) the 70's NY influence and now it overused and, if I can say, no more original.
Maybe I'm snob but I don't like wear things that people without any fashion culture and/or personal style wear just beacuse it's a trend.
I've worked out my boho in this spontaneously and now... :(
