Skinny jeans for men... Coming to an end?

Smoking, lack of exercise, tight clothes, high heeled shoes, and sitting or standing in a single position of long periods have all been correlated with an increase in cellulite.

Another totally unreliable source for you: Wikipedia.

I'll stop now... in fact maybe we all should before this sub-conversation gets turned into a whole new thread like the boxers/briefs/boxer briefs one, haha.

i like skinny jeans, but i think that other shilouettes can look just as good. i wear my jeans anywhere from;
skinny:

to slim:

to slim cut, but oversized for the mid 90s skate style:

to vintage workwear baggy:

first one is rrl(ralph lauren) slim... sized down to a 28 from my normal 30, and stretched out so i can sag them. those are one of my favorite jeans too... very modern skinny cut but with vintage construction and details comparable to the best japanese reproduction brands.

Sorry, could someone explain to me what that means?

insted of wearing them high(well... they are low rise, so that would be on my hip bones), i wear them about half way down my butt. i like the way they look better like that.

It means like, have them slightly loose and half way down your backside to show your pretty boxer shorts

It sags dreadfully and I personally think the sag looks dreadful (not skinny jeans).. but lots of men do it

I actually quite like it, at least in clockwood's first photo. I can completely see me wearing those jeans, and it's making we want to be unlazy and alter some of my own. I would have no idea how to start or what to do to achieve this "sag" look that everyone except me seems to be familiar with, though. clockwood, how exactly did you stretch yours, and how do you stop them from rebounding to their previous shape?

i just wear them. after a month or two of wearing them a few times a week the waist had stretched probably 2 or 3 inches. i havent washed them since i bought them

and for a good example of how sag can be used properly, check out the jeans in a dior homme runway show from 05-06... thats kinda what im going for there

I saw a guy wearing skinny jeans and well he got a big ***, so it doesn't look flattering at all.

you're talking about the jeans right? yeah, maybe he should lose the jeans

Yeah. I guess he tries to fit in with the crowd or something. Conclusion is, skinny jeans looks good on small hips, not big *** :P

^ Erm, not really. Some guys who are tall, but have big hips/waists, can still look good in a pair of black skinny jeans IMO

Really? Hmm, I still haven't found those guys on the street yet. All i saw is tall skinny guys, lol

I really don't think skinny jeans will be going anywhere. Sure, they may fade from being mainstream or whatnot, but they've been so prevalent for such a long time, it's not likely they'll die anytime soon. That said, I do love slim fitting jeans on men most of the time. ^_^

Girl jeans, on the other hand...
