Well, the format killed the show.

Mentors deliberatly eliminating stringer girls and being left with weaker girls pissed off the viewers.

Ppl also didn't really like Diva Naomi, who I actually LOVED.


Well, maybe it comes back one day.

They should give it time, Tyra Banks has single handedly ruined any chance for this kind of show. This is more serious than this ANTM which used to be good, then amusing and now crap as sin!

Well, I am with you guys.

I loved how real Aus/US (first season)/UK were.

They casted newbie models and almost all found their niche post-show.

The campaigns were just like in the Real World, they were tested with different scenarios/concepts and even commercials.

And the entertainment value for me (great one) was the battle between the mentors.

It is just really sad that the general public didn't really care for it, cause it had all the chances to be a long-run worldwide show.

True. Selection was far better, who won as well. Input, even for spectators, was far better. You actually learn things while seeing it.

From what I remember from Next Top Model... it was so dramatic and more interested in actually turn girls self-esteem in to aches. It was brutal. Yet it was entertaining for most people who watched.

I end up watching all again - The Face UK and Australia (eps of Australia are available on youtube in good quality). And during episode 3 of The Face UK with Erin O'connor, she absolutely conquered my heart with moment model fainted and she said "Please don't film this". If it was Top Model, they would eat all this moment up.
