a sponge applicator will do, or a brush

since britney wears very natural colors, you can't make many mistakes ;P simply blend and see if you want to blend it higher

thats a gorgeous look, LeonieAlexandria - I'd love to know for sure too, but i think it looks like some sort of balm, or a slick of neutral pink with balm on top - its got that soft, blotted look that you get with a lip balm...
if anyone can ID a similar lipstick colour, i'd love to know too xx

^ For that I just blend MAC Lip conditioner in Soothing Beige with a tiny bit of foundation to tone down my the natural pink of my lips...

But if you prefer lipstick.... I'mm have to go look for you, but the lip conditioner is a great product to have - keeps the lips soft and healthy and adds only a bit of shine unlike gloss.

For the rest of the face...use a light foundation then for the cheeks possibly a bit of illuminator or a blush that has a bit of a shine...I like Nars Deep throat ( peach with shimmer)...for eyes its just a very light brown color....I use MAC soft brown (soft golden- peachy brown) and just some mascara.

Looked at the MAC site....maybe try the lipstick in Moderne...its description says its a dirty neutral.... I haven't seen this shade in person, but that description sounds about right to what you need.

How do i get that look?? I mean, her foundation and her blush are so natural i love it! (or maybe she doesn't even have foundation...lol) thank you

She could be using a very light foundation or just concealer since she does have a pimple on her forehead that seems to have been covered...

If using foundation and you want the skin to "show through" theres a buffing technique to it. I use the M·A·C buffer brush in combination with Fix+. So apply foundation, buff, then apply a spritz of Fix+. When I do that its just basically to even my skintone with foundation...I put concealer and dont buff the areas like pimples and dark spots then buff areas like T-zone and cheeks and nose...it looks natural...you can see my freckles just like Mischa. Hope that helps. ^_^

Small MAC Buffer Brush (maccosmetics.com)

Brush Description - For blending powder, cream or liquid-based products or for removing excess powder. This is a small, full, circular brush with a flattened tip. It can be used to blend and polish.

Okay....so you put on foundation regularly...and the parts you want to "show through" more you buff with this brush by moving in a light sweeping motion to get excess off....then go in a circular motion to blend the area in again after taking off the excess. Usually I do it to cheeks, nose and a bit on the T-zone-forehead...then my freckles like Mischas show through....( click on my name and on my profile pic you can see on my cheeks I buffed it enough that you can see my freckles...good thing I saved that quick pic because this question came up before^_^ Even though my eyeshadow is still unblended there :ninja: )

Mac Fix + (maccosmetics.com)

Product Description- Liquid refreshment for the skin. A vitamin-rich pick-up for the skin - and a perfect finishing "fix" for makeup. Spray it on. Sets makeup. Wakes up the skin! Alcohol-free. Herb-infused. Shot with caffeine. One smart tonic. For a fresh finish to a look, apply over moisturizer and under foundation. Use over powder for a soft "set" finish. Non-irritating: skin calming. Botanically formulated. Naturally aromatic. Skin-quenching. Does the skin good. Let the skin drink it up!

I mentioned that I use this after I've done the buffing and put on my blush. This "sets" make up and gives it a softer finish and also its just pleasant to the skin ^_^

I don't know if I answered your question on the technique enough...but thats about all there is to it...just play around with it. :flower:

There are two looks I'd like help with. They both happen to be Liv Tyler. I love this look - it's so natural yet polished (sorry it's so big):
