The MAC Makeup Thread #2

MAC experts, I need some help!:D
My friend is in the US right now and she kindly agreed that she would bring me some stuff.:woot: My wishlist is endless, but what I really need is a new foundation.
I've been using Studio Fix Fluid for 2 years now, but what bothers me is finding a right shade (and maybe try something new). Currently I have NC15, but I think it's slightly too yellowish for me in the winter. Not much, but I'd still prefer something more neutral. Which shade would that be? Should I go for NW? I don't think I have distinct pink undertone either and I'm very pale. Otherwise I have normal/combination skin. I prefered matte finish because at the time my skin wasn't very good and I needed good coverage, but my skin has really improved by now so maybe I could try something else too.
Anyone have Studio Sculpt? What is it like? The description sounds so promising!
What about the difference between Studio Fix Fluid and Select foundation? They both have matte finish.
And after foundation I'm thinking about Studio Tech.

I'd be very grateful if someone would help me with all that, I'm open to all suggestions.

^The NW shades aren't that pink at all IMO, you should def go for it. I have no idea about their foundations, I only own the Face & Body.

I'm going to Tunisia soon, and the one part I'm most excited about is the tax free shopping in the airport  I'm getting the 224 brush and perhaps a CCB in Pearl or the Strobe Cream.

I need help with two things please!

Firstly, I took my ruby woo lipstick on a night out and managed to lose the lid! will the lipstick dry out or anything now? what could i use to stop this?

and secondly, can anyone recommend a black eyeshadow?

Thanks Ida, NW it is!^_^ I decided to stick to Studio Fix Fluid, because I've read reviews about Studio Sculpt and there are more negative comments than positive ones and I really don't want to risk.
BEST NEWS EVER FOR PALE LADIES!

I just found out today, Studio Fix Fluid is finally being released in NC10, NW10 and NC13, NW13.

FINALLY!!!!!!!
Is that really true? I'd go then for NW13, but I didn't find anything about these new shades, not even on their official site.

:o Do they have MAC shops at airports?? Or do they sell it in the regular tax free shops? Now I'm suddenly very excited too to go on holiday:P.

And °Isa, I believe Mindbear mentioned that the releasing of Studio Fix Fluid in those shades is in a very early stage, it's not even been announced yet, so it probably won't be in stores very soon.

EDIT: I can't seem to find it, but I'm sure I read that somewhere, maybe it wasn't Mindbear after all who said it :P.

I wish I could do eye make-up like that, but my eye MU only consist of mascara. Shame on me, I know.:ninja:

Oh that's actually black liquid liner. The one from Kat Von D. It mixed with the eyeshadow and looks darker.:D

It was me! Yes, I was in the pro store and you're absolutely right. They're only testing them out right now and the pro store were all very excited about it. The girl said next year at the earliest, which is annoying because I want them now!

MAC will finally be available online in Denmark:D
(with danish prices, unfortunately)
Still, can't wait to shop online... The place I can get MAC is always rather crowded.

^
It will be through Magasin's online store.. from September 1st!

Just bought Jazzed lipstick! It is a lot darker on me than on the Temptalia girl, but I apply it over nude lipstick and BAM...the best peach/coral lip colour ever!

i bought it too  i really like it when applied very softly so the colour is soft and with a bit of gloss...

and i got the cranberry eyeshadow which i love - how would you guys recommand to apply it? i have a no-brand brush i'm not really happy with...

(makeupalley.com & lovelyviolet.blogspot.com)

which Mac brush could be recommandable for eye-shadow application?
which Mac brush would be good for lipstick-application?
and which Mac brush would be good for eye-liner?

what about the 266 SMALL ANGLE BRUSH, MAC COSMETICS EYE 209 SE EYELINER BRUSH, 224 SE TAPERED BLENDING BRUSH, 242 SHADER BRUSH 249 LARGE SHADER BRUSH

and for the brows 208 SMALL ANGLED BROW BRUSH
and eyeliner: FLUIDLINE EYE LINER - BLACKTRACK

hope you guys can help me out! :flower:

Used MAC Parrot today. This was a limited edition one from a few years back. Also used Palladio Teal and Milani Silver Bullet.

^so gorgeous! which liner did you use in the rim of your eye?seems to have great stayin power..

Sorry to mislead but I actually had to airbrush it in with photoshop:blush: I had already applied Revlon Colorstay liner but it wasn't dark enough. And I didn't have the patience to go back in and re-do it and take another pic. But when I want really super dark black liner on the inner rims I use MAC Carbon wet with the Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush. I'll layer it over MAC Fluidline or the Revlon liner. It makes it look really intense.

aahh!! you cheat!!:D jk! amazing technique and I love your eye color!
