thanks! got a mix of my mom's blue and my dad's green-brown shade
and i got the cranberry eyeshadow which i love - how would you guys recommand to apply it? i have a no-brand brush i'm not really happy with...
which Mac brush could be recommandable for eye-shadow application?
which Mac brush would be good for lipstick-application?
and which Mac brush would be good for eye-liner?
I'm not an expert either but I quite like the 217 brush for almost everything. I use it to apply colour to the lid, to blend the crease and to apply eyeshadow under the lower lashline. It's also a great one for concealer and to contour nose/lip area.
As for the cranberry eyeshadow, I don't own it but I own a dupe from Essence. I use it on the lid with a black liner smudged underneath and I apply a darker brown/dark grey/black in the crease to blend. I wouldn't put this under the eyes because it can make you look a bit sick. Instead I would use the darker brown/black I've used in the crease.
rachel I love it! but when you do contrasting shades your incredible eye color pops out more, with the blue eyeshadow it almost blends with it. just a tip!
