im interested

I am currently interested in modelling. I'm 16 and am still growing. I live in LA as well, anyone have any advice on finding an agency? I still have my braces but I get them off very soon. Any tips or advice?

Thanks for posting that article, model_mom! It was a good read! I have a quick question; there are two modeling agencies that have the same open call time (3-4pm) so I was wondering if I could possibly go to one for the first half hour, then go to the other the last half-hour. Would I be able to do that? Or do I need to be there right when the open call starts? (Wow this sounds like a math problem I did. )

^ No, you don't... You just come in any time during the open call hours (unless, that's an agency that requires to set up an appointment beforehand).

should I start lying about my age?? I am 20 and I haven't really been developed yet in modeling.. I feel soo werid lying though.. darn my conscious
Don't if an agency really likes you and think you have potential they will take you anyway. They will find out your age anyway if you get a passport sign contract etc...

Hi everyone,

I'm in NY and I'm interested in commercial/print and fit modeling. Does anyone know of any reputable NYC agencies that focus on those type of modeling. I'm really looking for small agencies. Thanks

Could anyone reccomend a few agency's in LA that take teenage girls? Im looking for a good, reputable firm that would not steer me in the wrong direction. Im mostly interested in commercial print. Anyways thanks so much!

I heard about an agency called McDonald Richards or something like that... I had an impression that they're the best in commercial market.

Good luck! I'm doing some testing with them this week - perhaps I'll see you!

Hey, I have a question for models from NYC and other people who work in fashion there... You may find it a bit silly, but still, I want to know... Which New York fashion market agency would you say are the nicest people ? Like, bookers, managers, etc...

And, also, which "boutique" kind of agencies would you say are the best ? We all know the list of the best NYC agencies... models.com is probably not too far way from reality, but it just lists all the best agencies - IMG, Elite, Next... What I want to know is, say, what are the top 5 "boutique" kinds ?

Thanks in advance :flower:

I dont work in the business, but for boutique agencies, the results thus far show DNA, Women/Supreme and NY Models are some of the best boutique agencies in NY.

Are Women and Supreme the same agency? Because they're both in the same exact location but have different websites and models? Anyone know what the difference between the two are?
