Does anyone know if its possible to change bookers at your agency.
And how to go about it.
Is it rude or unprofessional- even though your certain that you would work better with another person.

Is anyone familiar with the city Hamburg?

My mom went there once and she thinks I can't go there on my own because it was so many times bigger than Amsterdam, blablabla.

Anyway, if there's someone who can help me out... that would be great. (I just want to know if it's difficult to find and some sort of things)

Yes I'm familiar with Hamburg and can help you with all your questions
You won't have any problem finding your way there (when you don't go without a map ). Hamburg has different boroughs which makes orientation even easier.
You can reach all parts of the city by public transport (metro/bus/tram).
Any concrete questions ?

Rothenbaumchaussee is located in university-area Rotherbaum. It's not the most central area of Hamburg but also not very far away from the centre, you can reach the centre easy by tram 'Dammtor' (within walking distance to the university and Rothenbaumchaussee). Ford Divisions

Could someone please explain to me the difference between Image, Lifestyle, Women and Ford II? Which one is new faces. I'm sooo confused.

None of them sound like the New faces board...
I know lifestyle isn't, aswell as Image. What's Ford II?

I know!!! I can't make heads or tales of thier website. Occasionally I get obsessed with one of their girls, and it's embarassing to try to book someone you think is in development, but isn't. Help!

Women can't be plus sized...Ana Claudia is on it. I think this is the main fashion board.
Image-Women has Chanel Iman, who is a huge star!
Irina (love her!!!) is on Ford II.
Ford+ is the plus sized division. (Crystal Renn!!!)
Classic looks like older women.

Do they simply not put new faces on their website?

I know Image is the main editorial board. These are the girls they are pushing for the most prestigious high fashion jobs. Lifestyle is a commercial board. Ford II used to be their secondary board for girls who were a little too "good" for commercial work but not "good" enough for the top editorial work. I don't know where Women fits in.

Yep looks like they just add new girls to their image division on their web site. Girls like Laila, Fernanda and Vika are new and still being developed.

If Ana Claudia is on the Women board, then I'm guessing they've added another layer to their editorial division in addition to Image and Ford II. I don't understand the point of creating so many divisions. It's a little anal. Is Sanne on any of their boards any more? Did they move her from Image to another board or is she just gone fr. Ford completely?

The best thing to do in this case is to try and set up an appointment with the head of the agency. Explain to her why you would like to change bookers and let her know if there is another agent you have in mind. If they want to keep you on board they will honor your request. Good luck.

It's a partnership, you must trust your booker (or agent). If you don't, or if you can't communicate well, something is wrong. If there's a problem be open and polite but things should be clear. If you aren't satisfied it doesn't make sense to insist on a collaboration which is unlikely to be successful. See the other replies above. The first step is to see if you can be assigned another booker, if that doesn't work maybe you should be released. It's good neither for you nor your agency if no one is satisfied.

It's important to not start looking for greener grass elsewhere before having talked with your agency, it's a small world and you could compromise your chances to join another good agency.
