Hello, my name is Gabriel and I would like to try a carreer as a model. I am living in London right now and I would like to visit some agencies here. Which agencies would you recomend me that work with male models??
I suppose that this question is already answered but there are too many posts and I have not time enough to read all of them.

Your friend is very pretty but as per tfs rules, we don't allow the posting of personal photos for critique as we ourselves can not tell you what an agency is looking for.

If you think your friend should model, what you can do is send her photos to an agency by email. If they're interested in her they will reply asking for more photos. They may also ask for her to come in person to meet the agents so they can see her in person. This would be the best way for her to be seen if she's not willing to go in herself.

Question for anyone for anyone with experience with elite:
they expressed interested in my Monday but haven't called: now I have some other agencies interested in me, but I'm still interested in Elite... should I call? What should I say and who should I call? I'm confused but I would love love love to work with them...

All I can say about Numéro Models is that they have a pretty nice board right now. Can't tell anything about the actual management they can provide but they did some great job for Ol'ha Honchar (who's not any longer there btw )

numero models is closing now.
if not yet, it is in the process, and it is just matter of days or few weeks.

So over the summer I sent out pictures to a ton of agencies, and just this afternoon Elite Chicago e-mailed me asking for more pictures and such. I know about Elite in New York, but does anyone know much about it's Chicago branch, I know it's deffinitely a commercial market there. AND just a few days ago I chopped of 14 inches of hair, I hope my short hair cut won't throw them.

BTW, what do you think of Elite's new web site? Over in Karlie Kloss's thread someone noticed that the redesign was put live with Karlie's photo on it, though she had been hastily pulled from the old site. haha

Anyway, the silhouette icons look very nice. Could use an alphabet short-cut for the girls. I love how they are filling in the girls over the days. The roster looks impressive.

I like the websites of DNA and New york models. They are clean and neat.
Anyway, I actually sent photos in to NY models last month and they replied in about 5 days, asking for a video of me walking, and 15 more photos in a swimsuit. (They also bolded the fact that they don't want me taking them myself.) (I was surprised to find out they contacted me because I just woke up one morning and snapped some photos and thought what the heck I'll send them to NY models.) I was like, oh this is a surprise. I then had some things happen in my life and just kind of dismissed it. My skin broke out and I had a personal issue. It finally cleared up (it must have been stress.) I hope they don't think I'm unprofessional, for waiting a month (or 2, now) to contact them back.

Yes, the NY Models site is nice and clean. I find Supreme rather irritating.

I figured since fashion week is going on, I'll wait a little bit. I agree with Supreme's site (it doesn't load sometimes and I have no idea who the new models are. And I hate spiders, btw and they have them crawling on the screen .

It's possible they wanted to see thevideos and photos for fashion week...but it's a little late now. If they were that interested in you a month ago i'd say you have a good shot at making them interested again.

I was actually watching a movie a few months ago and one of the actresses was a former model (and a greek model.) I would just look on supermodels.nl and check out some greek agencies and see if any are on the runways right now or signed in NY or Paris and Milan.

^ I looked at the websites and they have some big models at the Greek agencies but they are all mostly Eastern European. None of the known models are Greek.

Katia Zygouli is the only ne I've ver seen, weird because Greece is not that small and I bet the models would be very edgy

If you mean booking agencies, that would be Richards or Lizbell.
