I'm wearing a different cameo ring today ... it's Victorian, engraved rose gold, rectangular cameo that features what I have always thought of as a Greek goddess doing a scarf dance surrounded by seed pearls in little square frames. Just wish the stone were a little more vibrant color ... it's kind of a cloudy pale caramel.

Oh I adore this thread!!! I've practically been living here the past few days, while I'm supposed to be revising for exams (in gothic architecture no less!).
I've really been feeling this mood for a few years now, I think ever since re-reading Mary Shelley and Poe and the like for my English literature classes a few years back. I'm loving how the new version is a mixture of darkness and a more light/etheral feel...Wonderful!
