I saw some people getting more accounts because 'their username is not nice enough like others'
It's kind of selfish, especially since the number of spots now is limited and there are so many fans who still haven't managed to get one account.

What? I'm one of those people that still havent got their pottermore mail that's bloddy ridiculous, they could change their username in octuber or get another account. That's selfish and inmature People have this non-sense about houses, I want to get sorted in Slytherin but If I get into any other house I'm not going to create another account

Besides if these people who don't like what house they are in they need to just suck it up- J.K. Rowling actually came up with the questions and she knows it better then anyone else... so there is probably a good reason why each person is in a certain house! Gosh really... no need to create another email account to try and get into your favorite house!

I got in! I registered for myself and my friend so I got ChestnutOak138 and CharmCloak90. I can't decide which to take for myself and which to give to her, though.
I got the validation email for ChestnutOak138 within 5 to 10 minutes of signing up. I'm still waiting on CharmCloak90, but I'm just so glad I got in!
I was a bit worried at first because the clue first took me to the Sony page, and when I tried again, it went to the homepage. I got in on the third try, though. Did that happen for anyone else?

i signed up again since it says you should get the email within a day. i hate my new username
i hope i'll get the validation email this time...i won't validate that other account of course (should i ever receive that mail).

^haha, i spent a good 10 minutes on the Sony page looking for that damn Quill...i even did a search on the page after that i typed in the numbers again and it sent me directly to the registration page

i signed up for my cousin whos on vacation, it was fun going through that process again though. this was the easiest clue by far.

and the same thing happened to me with the sony website, it transferred me to sony's store and i couldnt find it so i typed it again and it directed me to the registeration site.

I'm such a terrible Harry Potter fan, I completely didn't realise the sign up for Pottermore was now! Fingers crossed I can get one in the next few days. Its really disappointing to read that people are setting up multiple accounts, so mean and selfish, I'm sure JK would disapprove

I'm planning on going to re-watch HP7 again, as the first time I watched it I was so angry at how much they'd changed, I couldn't enjoy it properly. Hopefully this time I can look at it seperately from the books (although I'm almost certain that I will still be annoyed they cut out so much yet included that absolutely ridiculous wrestling match that Voldy/Harry has whilst flying through the air that must have lasted at least 5 minutes).

How do we go about transferring accounts? I look at it and there isn't a place to change the names or other details.. Just a change in email addresses..

^i think that's all we can do for now. maybe ever. i don't know, but we don't have full access to the accounts yet anyways. and the sorting and all that will still take place so apart from the name and birthday it would be your own account.

Some updates from pottermore:

We can tell you that tomorrow’s clue (Day 6) will be released between 1:30pm and 4.00pm BST, and the final clue (Day 7) will be released between 12:30am and 3:00am BST on Saturday 6 August.

And for those who havent gotten their email yet...

We have been unable to deliver validation emails to approximately one in ten of the email addresses supplied to us due to them being mistyped. If you have not received a validation email within 48 hours of submitting your details to Pottermore, you should assume that we have been unable to deliver your validation email to you, and you will need to register again.
