The September Issue : A Vogue / Anna Wintour Documentary

I really thought it would get a wider release in London, especially with it currently being Fashion Week.

The DVD's currently sitting at the 9th biggest selling of the week on Amazon UK.

I saw it today! Amazing! The best documentary ever!
I fell in love with Grace! She is amazing, talented and is not afraid of Anna! And she reminds myself of me a little bit...

I'm so happy that it is already out on DVD (that was really quick!). September was quite a busy month for cinema and I missed it, unfortunately.

The DVD's also moved up to 3rd place on the best selling DVDs of the week.

I think a lot of its money is going to come from the DVD sales in the UK. I know of one cinema that showed it in the North East, one! But then I suppose only one or two seemed to show it in Central London!

tFS members with the DVD at hand, any of you able to list the music playlist used in the film? i know ladytron's destroy everything you touch is on it (and the trailer), mark ronson's diversion is also on it, as well as a couple tracks from ratatat...but the rest of the songs?

I just saw this movie! Very great insight. Makes you want to be an editor. And Grace Coddington will steal your heart - she is the most charming, endearing woman in this movie. I don't want to spoil anything, but it's awesome to see her as the only one who stands up to Anna and stays true to what she believes. Love her!

Oh and the think the song in the credits, is by Of Montreal. That's the only one I'm familiar with.

Great movie! I don't know if this is allowed, but you can actually download the movie via torrent.

I wanna see a documentary about Carine,named "A December-January Issue" or something-_-

^Wow, I did not expect the playlist to be like that at all. Now my anticipation is only building more...

Just saw it today... I wanna watch it again and again... and again.. :crush:

^^thanks much missmagaddict! the majority of these tracks are excellent and def. complement the cinematography...one last hurrah in place of this year's missing fashion rocks supplement? j/k...

I hope I could watch this today. Just found it somewhere.

I am currently watching it and I'm so excited. Just downloaded it from torrent. :flower:

I cannot watch this because they won't show it here in Manila but I promised myself that if the DVD would be released here, I would get myself a copy just so I could support it.

Does anyone here know any file-splitting software so I could possibly upload it on youtube.

^ YouTube users said you can't post the whole thing on YouTube. :(

^ I'm not surprised, it is a film we're talking about after all. It's going to be the same as putting any other film currently showing in the cinema up on there, they'll take it down.

If it's in flv, you can use Moyea FLV Editor. AVI, I guess Windows Movie Maker will work. :flower:
