Time for the Twins to leave the show - and start their new careers as children's TV presenters or whatever insane plan has been mapped out for them. You can't let Lucie go at this stage, not when there's worse still singing.

Generally, I also figure that it won't matter if Danyl doesn't win because Simon is waiting to whisk him away to the US where being irritatingly ambitious isn't such a bad thing.

The only thing Dannii did wrong was try to present her acts as having talent, rather than getting them to act up and perform as circus sideshows.

Thought the twins were more entertaining than her, i know this a singing competition and as we all know the twins can´t really sing but i still preffer them to her, i´m pretty tired of female singers to be honest

Never have I ever felt for someone as much, as what I did for Lucie when Simon said he would go with the public vote.
I wanted to punch him! He said in the papers he could leave the country if the twins got through, and he basically let them through with open arms. I'm fuming!

Simon is obviously keeping John and Edward because thats an insurance vote for him if his guys are in the bottom two with the twins some day. He's doing it for his own benefit. Its obvious that Lucie is a better singer than John and Edward and the show is no longer about the best contestant winning, it seems; its more about the judges trying to win it for themselves.

Still hate Lucie so I'm pretty glad she got booted though.

I´m so sad that Lucie is out. I want to kick Simon´s ***! I don´t mind the twins so much as I did at the beginning but Lucie was amazing last night. Sigh.

i really felt for her because she started crying when simon was coming to his decision
she knew deep down she wasn't going through and simon did say he would leave the country if the twins won or got through (i can't remember which one)
yeah i do think she'll be better off for not winning but its still not fair

and when they said Jamie afro got through i was like WHAT ? HOW ? HE WAS SHOCKING !

It probably is.. but I hope to god he regrets it in the morning. I can't wait to read up on the back lash about tonights show.
But at the end of the day, XFactor is a singing competition, and John & Edward are utter crap.
Lucie's survival performance was just incredible.

I agree that Lucie should not have gone over the twins. I fully agree with that... but then I can't help but feel that it's fair. She got less votes than them. Even if she's clearly so much more talented... something wasn't making the public vote for her to stay in over them..

I think this is it for me and the x factor. Lucie was one of my favourites I think Simon had a fair idea of how the public vote would go. It makes a sham of the whole competition, it isn't voting on talent the judges are all out for themselves, Simon is desperate for Danyl to win and i sincerely hope he doesn't

Funnily enough this is the same week that Laura White left the competition last year, it caused a lot of controversy and column inches for the X factor. She has just released her debut single this week, hopefully Lucie will be able to have the same success.
