I've seen leggings as pants work only once. It was earlier this year when I was in Rice Village here in Houston (a beautiful part of my hometown along with the Houston Galleria and River Oaks). This one femme was mostly all-black- a cropped shrug sweater, some tank top, leggings, and cute ballet flats. Again, this all goes back to fashion laziness. Comfort and confidence in your fashion are both good things. However, when do you cross the the line in regards of compromising comfort for fashion? Let this be said... Leggings + sheepskin boots is a fashion disaster waiting to happen. If you're going to do leggings + boots, at least have them be a hot pair of chic leather boots rather than with the furriest, most massive boots you can find. Go with skinny pants/jeans instead. At least they would be much better than wearing leggings instead. Some are still convinced that combination of leggings and sheepskin or Winter boots are better than proper pants/jeans. Pants must be overrated, I guess.
