Trends You Are Sick Of #1

This is not a trend, its a "thing", a horrible piece of jewellery so trashy that words fail me:

It is a ring worn in your middle finger, where two thin chains are attached down to your wrist and connect there with a bracelet.

It may have been an ethnic piece of jewellery in Yemen or so 2000 years ago, but nowadays those who wear it belong to the underworld in every sense (like those horrible fish which live in deep sea water and never see any light). :yuk:

The worst Trend are Trends itself!

Wear what you want and compliments you!

We should just close this thread down right now because lmonte that sums it all up. You should send that statement to kenneth cole (since he is always giving words of wisdom with his ads)....

I couldn't agree more. Do You! :flower:

logo bags
Louis Vuitton-just so boring and played out
uggs-i still see lots of ppl wearing those here in SF...WHY? its not THAT cold here-in fact it was 75 degrees today here-summer has arrived, take off those horrid things and put on some nice heels or sandals!
overly tight clothing

The Sienna Miller trendy London-girl streetwear look. This look isn't even terribly popular where I am, but my experience a few weeks ago convinced me that it simply must die: I was in Paris and happened to be in the same building that had been rented by Lancome for some sort of convention. All of the attendees were young British women, and all ~200 of them (I mean just about every last one) were dressed in some combination of: fur vest/puffy vest/furry parka/puffy parka, worn over jeans tucked into furry boots/suede boots/pirate boots/whatever boots. About 50% of them topped off the look with a newsboy cap. I thought I'd stumbled into a hall of mirrors when I saw them all milling about...Later that day I was walking through the neighborhood when they'd apparently all taken a break for lunch and split off into groups of 25, because at every block I'd run smack into a roving pack of fur-and-denim-clad British girls. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my camera.

 "Roving pack" eh?

The really cheap-looking metallic stuff. (I like the nice metallics, though.)

Dots.

Dots everywhere

I was so sick of them...

Afortunately, that trend ended on summer here.

The same fur gilet everyone is wearing!! Wish it would go away especially the really bad cheap tacky looking ones. Im sick of it too.

ponchos....WHY are they still in stores???
Brands that are the epitome of capitalism trying to look bohemian/hippy
UGG
Juicy sweats
North Face fleece jackets

-Ponchos, ponchos and eh ponchos

-the tight denim jeans tucked in high black boots (here in Holland every soccerwife and/or socialite has this look)

-Otazu jewelry, another favorite amongst Dutch celebrities

-In Holland, there is this famous make up artist called Leco van Zadelhoff. He has the capacity to turn every Dutch female celebrity in an overtanned, too blonde, mainstream, pornbarbie who only wears Miami Vice colours. Therefore, you can literally pick out the women he has worked on because they all look like Lecobarbieclones. :yuk:

-People in Miami Vice colours! :yuk:

ponchos
FCUK slogan/rhyming clothes. Thats old now.
Von Dutch tshirts. The guy was a racist, and people still continue to wear them!
People who wear charity bands just for 'fashion' Do it for the cause people! (but I'll still wear my Poverty band-something I care about. Poverty has to be abolished)

Pink UGGs.
Ponchos (!).
Louis Vuitton.

You three get my very special award of yikes. Now go away please.
