Trucker Hats

trucker hats are so played out, I remember wehn Pharell Williams of the Neptunes was wearing one back about 4 years ago. Then, Justin Timberlake...Then Ashton, then ever freakin' kid in my damn town.

Time to get some real style kids, and no, I do not think you are cool because you bought a $45.00 Von Dutch Trucker hat, when the style went in and out in 2 months.

What are your feeling on this ?

what is beyond my wildest comprehension is why they were ever in. where I grew up, trucker hats were only for truckers and hardcore rednecks with mullets and mustaches.

Well, first off:

Mullets are cool, and stylish. I don't care what anyone says. They will hit run-ways and print ads, soon. haha.

Trucker hat's were cool, for two months. Girls, look cute as hell in hats, and its an easy way for guys to stilize an outfit with out doing his hair.

They're just played out now. I know there is big plans for the 80's revival, and the skater punk scene, being incorporated in the style scene.

Trucker hats are hot. I think they look good with vintage outfits. They are pretty well circulated, but I think they will be around for a while. If you cant wear one dont, some people look funny in them

If you lived here, with me, you would NOT think mullets were stylish.

we laugh at mullets, and often find ourselves, "mullet hunting".

but, I need to contact a funky fashion company, and tell them their next ad campain needs to feature mullets.

awesome..

I will embrace the mullet trend. It would make my community "with the times"!

the mullet trend is over too  all my boy toys from paris had mullets [ oh the irony ] years ago. when you start seeing trucker hats and mullets on MTV and in people style watch they are over. peroid. fasion is timing and if you are truly cool mullets and trucker caps are in the past

I think they are a viable form of expression! In a way, they are good ice breakers!

LOL ......oooh exuse me, i love your modern ape drape  :woot: its fabulous

 lolita

mullets are kinda passe, i like faux hawks still but they are definetly getting passe, what will I do  fauxe hawks are my life!

trucker hats are old news , but i still kinda enjoy them on some people, I saw some uber cool graffitid trucker hats buy this local artist/designer but I wouldnt buy

i thought i hated the trucker hats too until i received one as a gift...and just like juicys, vintage tees, havaianas, and every other ridiculous thing i found myself wearing it just because sometimes i wanted to get up and go...and everyone has days, moments when you just need to put on a hat...

it's funny to me that a lot of fashionistas will resist something BECAUSE it's trendy...i thought the whole point was to be individual regardless of if it's in or out...now vintage trucker hats to me are nasty (the thought of someone's hair! )

Aw are the trucker hats over YET? Please? They remind me of ashton kutcher and all of his annoying tendencies

i'll keep away ...
i cannot explain it, i get really annoyed wearing 'trendy' things

i dont really mind other people sporting 'item of the month/season' but not me,

i am exactly the same way. at our mall we have a lot of trendy teenager stores, aka abercrombie & fitch, american eagle, gap, guess, tommy hilfiger... etc.

but you cant buy anything at any of the stores and wear it to school without seeing at least 5 other people wearing it the same day. its horrible! granted my school is huge and has a grand total of 6500 students, but still. individuality is hard to come by when shopping at our mall.

instead i usually just buy plain tee's and mix them with other pieces. or buy the "trendy" piece of the moment and drastically change it with my sewing machine and other little extras to make it my own.

but goddd, i hate the feeling of wearing the same outfit as someone else. sorry if it sounds snobbish :ninja:
