I really hate Jacobs character with a passion. To be honest I only liked Twilight, the other books, with the other story-line (regarding Jacob) had me bored to tears.

I think Kristen's okay. She's pale, has dark hair, skinny and kind of scrawny, perfect age, has the right shaped face plus she's not a bad actress. I think Kristen comes pretty damn close to Bella. So far so good. Hopefully the casting won't suck as bad as Harry Potter. Though I think it's pretty obvious Gaspard will not be Edward. As sad as that might be.

She sort of projects this strength/independence and she's tall and pretty. I kinda imagined Bella as sort of more unconventional looking, shorter and 'softer' looking because in Twilight she's very weak/dependent on Edward.

Actually I sort of agree with you... Bella, in my mind, seems almost... awkward.

The rumour mill is Colton Haynes is going to be playing Edward. No official word yet, but then again the last Bella "rumour" turned out to be true.

He reminds me of an Abercrombie model- No! This isnt Edward. Ok, I know people may be thrilled by the idea of him but I feel sort of depressed (I know, exaggeration)

Am I the only one completely upset over the fact that Kristen was cast as Bella? She, to me, is not any bit close to what I imagined Bella. To sum it up, I think Emily Browning would have been the perfect casting choice. Word is that she was within the top 3 but just a bit too pricey.

I guess I'm happy with Kristen because of how I dislike Emily, also Kristen seems more like a blank canvas, easy to mould into a good Bella (hopefully). But I feel for you, I mean if it had been Emily I'd probably feel like you did

i can see Edward in that guy a SMALL bit... facial structure wise..
but when I looked at the picture of him smiling, i lost all hope..

Edwards smile would be nicer then that imo..
