UK Vogue December 2012 : Natalia Vodianova by Mario Testino

She looks beautiful but I hate how bored she looks. There's no life I'm her eyes.

While the dress she wore is lovely, its too spring for a December cover :ninja:

Nice cover...love the colors and styling, but this is not Natalia at her best.

The fonts? The jacket? Are people blind to her face? She looks like she's smiling uncomfortably because she's holding a fart in.

That's awful! Their december covers are usually lovely... What a shame!

Everyone's talking about One Direction but has noone noticed 'Popcorn: the miracle food' Why on earth do we need to know this?

Vogue goes POP?! seriously? what part of this cover represents this statement?

After all the speculation over which model would be on the cover, this is a big letdown. I'd have rather seen Karen Elson that Natalia again. And she does look a bit deranged and waxy on the cover.

Um....because popcorn is like the most delicious thing ever???? So of course it warrants a tagline on the cover of Vogue.

It's a bit hard to see the image, not going to fully judge until I see a HQ, that said, it's really springy and not at all winter holiday's feeling. And the POP lettering is terrible, why would they think this is okay???

And erm, I have a confession, I'm okay with the One Direction tagline because obviously it's smart marketing, trying to get the band's fans to buy the issue. And also, because I find them rather amusing. :ninja: I'm sorry, you can revoke my good taste in music now.

I'll buy this if it's on sale for £2 again.

I look at the colors she's wearing and am instantly taken back to the Duran Duran/Miami Vice 80's vibe! Ick!!

That description simply made me giggle. Quite accurate and well written. This, plus that line about popcorn and the rainbow-colored "Vogue goes Pop". Did they try to make a parody of their own magazine?

The smile looks like a smurk or something weird, the tension she put there doesn't work or shall I say the photoshop they used killed her smile and natural beauty. The outfit on the other hand is cute but I don't feel the whole thing, it looks mumzy and old

I don't like this soccer mom haircut Natalia has been rocking...I wish she would go longer again.

This is awful. She looks so plastic and I agree like a mannequin. The coat is gross.

The inside contents better be AMAZING or I will be annoyed.

I assumed we would have seen a more festive theme as British Vogue often does for their December covers. But Natalia has delivered a serviceable cover shot. The Valentino just works with the hair and make-up. Although the fonts and text placement ruins the entire lot, as usual.
