UK Vogue December 2012 : Natalia Vodianova by Mario Testino

To me her eyes were always a bit blank, but I think that whole doe-eyed, Bambi look is what made her so popular. She looks like a frightened child.

You know I'm always turned off by Natalia's half-smile; I find that it conveys sadness or disinterest. Needless to say it is not appealing and such an expression should not keep popping up on Vogue covers.

There's so many wrong things with this cover i don't even know where to start. I'm still hoping this is just a bad joke and we'll see the real thing soon

Is it wrong that I think that's a far better image than the cover shot...?

They were shot by Patrick Demarchelier.

Greenway thank you for the review, and i am sorry to read your issue was so damaged, that made me cringe, and its not even mine. I hate hate hate when that happens, and the reason i dont subscribe anymore to any magazine, because i want my issues in perfect condition.

But this issue does not interest me much, couldn't care less about POP, or the acts they have chosen to feature, only thing i want to see is Tim's ed with Bela.

That's also the reason why I don't subscribe. Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Ditto! I'd rather pay newsstand prices than get damaged issues. Except for Interview, at $9 an issue, it's worth subscribing. They gladly replace damaged issues!

Thank you for the review Greenway! I'm pretty excited about Like Dreamers Do. Love when Tim Walker & Jacob K. collaborate.

I'm only excited about Tim's editorial. Thanks Greenway!

Sounds like a rather boring issue for a model lover like myself... :(

I've gotta let you know, Tim Walker's ed is the only interesting thing in this issue. I don't know what's wrong with Vogue UK, normally they are good on the editorial front but the last three issues have been extremely lackluster.

think its so pretty their best cover in quite a while actually, still going to cancel my subscription though

Tim's editorial is a bit of a let down for me. It's a bit too trippy. I like him much more... glamorous I suppose.
