Nothing that extreme. She's headlining British Summer Time in Hyde Park, as her only UK date on the whole tour. It was announced this morning and goes on sale on Friday, so timed to perfection with the magazine landing on newsstands.

I agree with you on all points. However, I cannot help but find this disingenuous. Also Taylor as a cover star bothers me - a white girl in Chanel? Does it get any more bourgeoise? Is that really a new era we are looking for?
No one bins their Chanel jacket anyway, it's like a timeless peace and you'll always grow old enough to look good in it again :-D

Mixed feelings about this. I'm unmotivated by the fact Taylor Swift's back on British Vogue but must admit the cover shot isn't a total disaster. It's pretty underwhelming considering Craig McDean is behind the lens, however, I do like the Chanel, and this hair and makeup for Taylor!

In Work Up, I thought I saw Taylor Swift and I got excited. It would have been fun to see
So happy for Taylor S. she deserves the cover but I hate the photoshopping; it was unnecessary

I bought this today for £2 at the supermarket, although it's only now that I realise the reduced price is a sticker that can be removed... oh, it says 'JAN £2' under it anyway. Still, my cover is now unblemished by a price reduction.

At 222 pg, this issue is bigger than I'd expect a January one to be - and flicking through it, what caught my eye the most was a short look at Giorgio Armani's superyacht. Turning the page, there's an editorial with Karen Elson, plus Luna Bijl, Joan Smalls and others. My December issue went straight into the recycling bin, but straightaway, I feel this one will stick around for longer.

The one thing I do note is that the inside back cover is an in-house ad for Vogue Voices - no success in selling that space to an advertiser?

This is truly a fantastic January issue! The cover looks amazing in print, inviting, and luxe. But the issue has so much great content for January, and as always with Edward's Vogue it's just full of diverse interesting articles, people, and propositions. Easily his is the most progressive Vogue. Always enjoy it even when i dislike the cover!

The only thing that is off, for me, is Taylor's ed, holy batman photoshop! I don't follow her, so can't be 100% but in some shots she is a different human! I laughed out loud in the B&W photo, because she looks like Kim Basinger, its just too damn much! McDean usually doesn't do this with his subjects, so wtf happeend this time!
