US Harper's Bazaar June / July 2010 : Katherine Heigl by Alexi Lubomirski

The cover fonts they used years ago was very Bazaar. That was an identity for me to recognize the magazine. I Love that font than this one.

I'm surprised that after four days there haven't been more comments on this issue here than this (though yes we've also only seen the cover so far). Could it really be -- a US Bazaar cover that is passable enough to not be worth ripping on? Or did people finally lose the little faith they had left in the magazine last month to be bothered with new issues. ^_^

Amazing what a bit of background can do to a cover shot. Thank God, then, that they managed to cover most of it with an unparalleled text overload of ugly.
I, too, am quite astonished at the lack of comments, scans or snaps from this issue. A double issue is supposed to be an important issue since it's going to last for two months. But having read Luxx's post, I'm beginning to feel that this issue is going to be a major letdown, which is a shame.

I think the only Jablonski to be so well known to be known only by her surname is Constance, really. In this issue of Bazaar there's an article and photoshoot with Bristol Palin, who talks about being a mother and abstinence. Yikes!

Hmm, Constance is my favourite Jablonski but I also like Jackelyn, so I'm really looking forward to that colourful ed with her. I love her eyes.

thankfully it's Jacquelyn! :woot: i would have died of boredom if it had been Constance.
i'm looking forward to that edit, even though i don't get my hopes up too high when it comes to bazaar, to be honest.

And some pictures with an article about Cavalli with Hana Soukupova

There is also a '24 Hour Diaries' feature that gives two pages to Jac Jablonski, 'PR maven' Karla Otto and Kristina O'Neill

Thank you so much for the review, t-rex. Can't wait for Jacquelyn and Ginta's eds, I'm not a big fan of Kendra Spears, though.

Disappointing review indeed. But I'm sure Camilla Akrans and Hana Soukupova will revive it.

I just received it in the mail. The subscriber's cover is the same as the newstand but with a lot less text. Jacquelyn's editorial is the only one that isn't shot in a studio and its 10 pages long and isnt floral, which is surprising giving that it's Camilla.

If someone doesn't scan it I'll just wait for my zinio subscription and i'll upload the HQs. Either way, none of the editorials are that great.

I've just seen it online, the latest in Bazaar's series of articles about "people I never wanted to read about in the first place".

Here are some quick snaps I did...

(sorry for the grain / odd coloring, very cloudy out...)

got this in the mail today...for a two month issue its unbelievably lackluster. the same old same old. although i have been bored of this magazine for quite some time so that could just be my bias talking. and i was under the impression that alot of people don't like katherine heigl, kind of an odd choice to be on the news stands for two months.
