US Vogue January 2008 : Kate Hudson by Patrick Demarchelier

She looks like Gemma on the cover. The cover also looks like it belongs on a spring/summer issue, not a January one.

I have to ask, though I'm almost positive I know the answer, but is the editorial with Caroline and Raquel set in a studio? :innocent:

the kate shots... she's adorable but they're awfully boring.

Well, I like the fact that Demarchelier finally got another cover, but the subjsct is beyond lame! I would have preferred Bosworth over Hudson, atleast she hasn't been on the cover before. Oh well, I can't complain about a Natalia edit though!!!

Kate is usually cute, but somehow she looks like Buckbeak here, forgive my Potter references. I like it otherwise, but that birdlike beak quality of her nose and mouth is hard to muster on a spring cover. And as for the insides - I could live well without Natalia wasting more rainforests, same goes for Trentini and Zimmermann....looking forward to the Chanel Iman piece, though. I do hope to be proven wrong...would be nice to buy an American Vogue. Haven't done so in quite some time now.

that is a ridiculous amount of airbrushing for someone who really doesn't need it..

Haha about wasting rainforests.

I hope the Trentini and Zimmerman ed is good enough, though, to warrant their absence from VS, considering. If it is a studio shot, seriously? Is Anna just the holy grail? I'd have told her to book different models. Still yay for Raquel, always nice to see her. The Jumper, not so much.

The color of the cover is vivid in some way, but the cover girl is just:innocent:
It's apparently Anna has her own "Cover Girls List" and she just chooses each one again and again every month. How boring!

About the content, I'm quite excited to see Natalia! Can't wait to see the ed! And Caroline, Raquel again?:ninja: Still, I'm looking forward to Chanel Iman's ed. Hope it will be a surprise.

The best dress list, I've totally no ideas...:innocent::innocent:

Oh well, Us Vogue is not my cup of tea, but I'm excited to see the meisel and natalia editorial. Thanks for posting all the info!

That smile on the cover is so phony looking, it's very unflattering.

And that best dressed list is pathetic for the most part.

i think the best dressed list is quite good. different women of different styles, professions, sizes and ethnicities. don't see much wrong with it at all (georgina excepting).
