US Vogue January 2008 : Kate Hudson by Patrick Demarchelier

It's lame. Michelle Williams, Thandie Newton, Halle Berry, Emily Blunt and Jessica Alba would be great on the cover of Vogue.

ITA! All these actresses would be great. Halle was really good in "Things we lost in the Fire" and is due for a Vogue cover, and I really love Emily Blunt and Thandie Newton.

I think the cover choice is rather boring but I have to say, I think the cover looks gorgeous!

Let's all guess some names and see who will be right.

Based on the people they suck up to in the past

Camilla Belle
Ivanka Trump
Kiera Knightley
Sienna Miller
Some socialite
another socialite
A model- probably one of their 10 top models from the cover earlier this year.
Someone old like Helen Mirren.

Oh...and don't forget Jennifer Hudson

I took it to consideration of mentally changing Kate into someone else. Therefore the cover is good. 70's vibe, which I've noticed in a few past covers.

^^Oh dont be,it will be the same old same old.................

No doubt. Kate looks great. She has such charisma and I love her smile. Although with all her negative tabloid press about her divorce and Owen my image of her is a little tained now:unsure:

pathetic...

Out of boredom a few days ago I decided to make an "educated" guess as to who would be on the January cover. I considered the faves (and when they were last on the cover) and Kate Hudson made the top three. But I discounted her as a possibility because I thought she was too passé and she hasn't been making noteworthy movies latetly.

And yet, here she is... looking horrible, I might add. And that shirt, ugh. This almost matches the ugliness that was Stella Tennant's February 1999 cover.

I shouldn't be surprised that Vogue is so predictable... but, like an idiot, I always hope for something better.

I've probably lowered my standands for US Vogue just out of pity, but I think this is one of the best covers they've had in months.. I'm probably biased by the fact that it's marvelous Dries Van Noten.. I'll feel awful when the enthusiasm pasts and I come to terms with the fact that the face above is really Kate Hudson. in the meantime, it's a yes for me.

Am I the only one who finds this cover kind of...scary?? :innocent::lol::lol:

i think kate's face looks REALLY weird in that picture :ermm:
just not a good angle for her imo..
something about her nose just looks funny to me..
like it's attached to her top lip or something..

the summery feel is nice for the cover, but kind of out of sync with the January winter weather..

just feels a bit odd to me..

although i do like that she is wearing dries ^_^
