i dont like the text, but i do respect the choice to put SJP on the cover. as she is a great american woman, i like the cover. i always feel everything can be better, i feel the same of this cover. i almost feel like its a remix of the michelle obama cover. different color dress, same aesthetic.

To me, this cover choice screams $$$ and nothing more. She is featured in Vogue because her issues obviously sell well. It's a shame that other talented and more refined women are pushed aside in favour of people like Sarah Jessica.

i agree all the way. SATC will be soon out thus sarah needs to promote her movie, vogue us needs to sell, sarah sells well... then nevermind the readers who were longing for real fashion. i know it's above all a business but other editors manage to conciliate both business and fashion. it annoys me even more since anna is considered as a fashion goddess - i don't really know whether it's well-deserved since i just don't mind her - but to be honest i think her work as a fashion editor doesn't deserve that admiration she seems to arouse from everywhere. when i hear 'vogue' the first words that come into my mind are 'understated, classic but still innovative and lively fashion'... and vogue us doesn't fit my definition. the content is often so worthless, the fashion stories are often so ridiculous i could be mistaken and think that magazine isn't actually called vogue but something like grazia or cosmopolitan.

I certainly don't hate the cover or Sarah. But there is too much arm for me, it's kinda awkward.
The colours are nice and it's a very refreshing US Vogue cover.. especially with the centre text.
Can't wait to see a few more shots with Sarah and of course the editorial content! Thanks for posting!

Very pleasant cover. Whether pleasant is a good description or not I'm not sure, but it's a lot better than some of their lastest efforts even with shed-loads of text. SJP looks nice there too.
