Their Facebook page hinted Gaga would be on the cover. Hmmm. This looks awful IMO.

Ha. That's so funny.

Suppose we should have twigged... every photo their Facebook posted was Gaga with a designer.. Perhaps there's multi covers?

V’s fall fashionextravaganza is dedicated to the city of New York and it kicks off to a great start with Alasdair McLellan’s portfolio of fashion’s inspired by the effortlessly cool look of the East Village. Styled by Beat Bolliger and shot right on Saint Mark’s Place, the shoot features combat boots, chunky silver jewelry and a whole lot of layering to create a look that is a surprisingly luxe blend of punk and grunge. Who better to embody the edgy feel of the story than Agyness Deyn? The trendsetting model (and East Village resident) is back and better than ever. With her blonde buzzcut and tribal inspired makeup, Agyness looks like a young Sinéad O’Connor.

Check out the full story when V67, The New York Issue hits newsstands.

Good grief, what a tacky, tasteless cover!

Isn't that the whole point?

I find myself saying this constantly when it comes to covers where they've involved humour. I'm pretty sure the entire point is that it's tacky, and tasteless, and brash.

I think they were trying to be cheeky with this cover and issue, but it did not work at all. The cover doesn't represent NY at all. There is more to NY than chewing gum and the Statue of Liberty.

This is horrific...the gum on the logo just makes it even more disgusting.

People will hate me for this, but I kinda like the cover. It represents the urban city that is NY. Garbage, pollution...I think the meaning behind the chewing gums is that they are pasted all over the street's ground, idk. In the other hand, I think the photo is a little bit poor, kind of forgettable.

Well, the cover made me laugh, but that's about the only positive thing about it

That's a whole new interpretation of what New York is about because all the adjectives that come to my mind when looking at this cover - disgusting, unsexy, nasty, dirty, tasteless, etc. - are certainly not the ones I usually associate with New York

I kind of this.... It reminds me of an early V cover.

I'm just glad that the cover doesn't have another mediocre actress photoshopped to death.
