Tiuu Kuik
Challenge 2
Part 1
Tiiu Kuik was discovered as a model in the most magical way possible. While she was at a local food fair, the owner of an agency in Estonia discovered her and sent her to work in Japan and Italy. Ever since that fateful day, Tiiu remains a top model. She was born in a far away place called Estonia, on March 16, 1987. Her height is a very long six feet, and she measures 33.5-23.5-35.5 in the United States, she also has brown hair and green eyes. If you’re a magazine fiend like me, you must have seen the Dior J’adore perfume advertisements, where Tiiu is in a haze of golden paradise. At the age of 19, she has already accomplished walking many runways for over 40 designers, and even nabbing a coveted beauty campaign (such as the CoverGirl ads that ran in 2005). The New York times say that "... [Tiiu Kuik] has attenuated limbs and skin of such lunar glow that she seems extraterrestrial."
Part 2
The last time we saw Tiiu, she was looked in the cellar with no hope of escaping. But the cellar held a secret Tiiu kept from her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. From time to time, she would find stolen moments to break away to the cellar. Inside the wall laid a small door that opened to reveal Tiiu’s hidden treasures; a photo of her mum and dad, a small bag of coins, and a dusty old music box. The music box was the most special of all treasures. Given to her by her mother (with instructions to use it when in trouble), Tiiu knew now was the right time to use it. The only problem was would the music box fail her?
She felt the cherry stained wood and gold plated buttons. The knob was turned once, twice, and Tiiu lifted the lid. The inside of the box always made her smile. Two male figurines were fussing over a woman figuring in an atelier. The Phantom of the Opera’s “Music of the Night”song poured over the two male figurines, which were now spinning around in circles frantically. Tiiu stood up from marveling at the figurines, and she forgot about her troubles. Time stood still as she danced her heart out to the music. Yet in the depths of her heart, the desire to attend the ball gnawed at her insides. She stopped dancing and sighed, realizing a silly music box would never help her tonight. In a fit of desperation she whispered to herself, “I wish I could go to the ball.” The music stopped abruptly and the music box shock violently. The two men figurines grew larger and larger until they were both real people.
Tiiu was so startled she was at a loss for words. She recovered by asking “Who are you?” The taller man said, “I am Victor.” And the shorter man said, “I am Rolf.” Both men gleefully cheered “And were your fairy godparents!” Tiiu still shocked tried to make sense of it all. She was just about to say something, when Victor interrupted her. “Don’t worry about questions dahling. We have to get you ready for the ball, and there isn’t much time!” He assured. “Now lets get started shall we?” Rolf demanded. Victor and Rolf burst into song as they fixed up a dress for Tiiu.
Seemingly out of nowhere fabric assembled itself and wrapped around Tiiu. Each fold and crease was carefully placed, and the result was a spectacular and glorious gown. Tiiu looked at herself in a cracked mirror and was so giddy with excitement. Her dreams were coming true and she hugged both Victor and Rolf in appreciation. “How can I ever thank you?” Tiiu exclaimed. “Your mother would be so proud of you right now, that’s enough thanks.” Rolf replied. “But wait!” Victor shouted. “We must do something with your hair; it will make you shine brighter than the stars.” Victor and Rolf worked on Tiiu’s hair, first combing it with a silver brush and then plaiting it into a luxurious braid. “This is all so wonderful, but how will I get to the ball?” Tiiu wondered. Without saying anything, Rolf unlocked the cellar door and whisked her outside. A large white hot air balloon was waiting to take Tiiu away. The balloon’s ‘chauffer helped her inside and when the balloon was rising away, Victor and Rolf vanished.

When Mariacarla was 17, a family friend, who was a photographer, asked to take some pictures of her. He sent them to several agencies and they were interested but Mariacarla decided to stay in school and focus on that. After school was finished, she decided to go through some of the Milan agencies, and that’s when she started full time. I believe that she was 18 or 19 when she began to seriously model. She is now 25, so she has been modeling for about 6 years. Mariacarla has been in many campaigns. Several include Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Versace and Alberta Ferretti. She has walked numerous runways for each season. Mariacarla made a massive comeback when she dyed her hair blonde and cut it super short.

After a while, she became tired and went upstairs, to her room in the attic. She opened up her trunk and pulled out the ancient dress her mother wore when she was younger. At the youthful age of 26 and already considered by many to be a legend, Ai Tominaga has taken over the modeling world by storm with her sweet porcelain and the absolutely mind blowing stomp down the runway. Isabeli Bergossi Fontana is a Brazilian supermodel. In 1996, she made it to the finals of the Elite model look contest at age 13. In 1997 she moved from Brazil to Milan to start her modelling career. The ugly sisters screamed at Isabeli to do their hair. They wouldn't keep still as they argued over who was going to dance with the handsome prince first.
