Considering the standards of this magazine, especially the last 2 issues. I'll take this, it quite decent. The main ed is even good. The whole issue is consistent.

Maybe EE can go work for D&G after this.

the shot from Brett Lloyd’s editorial of the models on the motorbike is my favourite fashion moment of the year, editorial wise. it’s so fashionably strong IMO that I cannot believe it’s under Farneti.

Im buying this weird *** Mona cover for this picture.

overall, it’s not their worse issue at all. gives me hopes for September now that he’s leaving and for sure, him knowing beforehand, maybe he got… better.

Another absolute dud of a cover under Farneti's tenure, if you ask me and I've been at the point where I couldn't care less about Vogue Italia for months. Covers and editorials over the past few years have just been so incredibly dismal that I now feel numb to each new cover.

Until they don't fire Ferdinando we are not gonna see a real change.....and to be fair there were very good pictures/editorials under his tenure (maybe or for sure it was randomly event), i don't know how much he was involved in the process of choosing the pictures (i mean every editorial picture)....

The covers on the other hand was all his fault and responsibility....

I was shocked when I received this issue a few days ago: Vogue Italian is definitely struggling with advertisement clients. Although their August issues have always been weak in advertisement since long time ago but this year: among all the ad pages, one back cover ad of Giorgio Armani, 2 pages of Louis Vuitton and 2 pages of Omega. That’s all the big international brands I could recognize (maybe another page of L’Oreal). All the others are local brands ad or advertorials.

And it’s interesting to compare VI to VP for the August issues. Page counting wise, VI has 152 pages, surpassing VP’s 130 pages. But VP still has more big advertisement clients under the belt in this issue: LV, Saint Laurent, Dior, Prada, Miu Miu, Chanel (watch ad this issue).

bought this issue today and I must say that the photography content is extremely good!
Mona & Jean’s editorial is strong enough too!

also, the paper quality is amazing! definitely pleased with the purchase.
