The main ed is nothing special but the rest of the content is quite beautiful. Akrans' story is remarkable and so is the Alta Moda cover! Great issue overall.
Julia Stegner's return to Meisel is THE most exciting thing happening in VI this year
Other than that, it's not an ugly editorial, just a little boring. Doutzen and Amanda look amazing.
The couture ed with Karen is nothing special, but that Dolce collection is very gorgeous.
I love both of Roversi's eds (Irene Hiemstra is in the couture special too), McDean's ed with Karl Templer is great too. Guinevere looks stunning and the Valentino ed is also whimsical. I'm just in love with the collection and the photography justifies it.
The main editorial is...well...short?
I dont know, I dont really see anything to review. 6 models portrayng two styles and so what? This is the lazyest Meisel has ever been. Last season was the same thing but the glorious styling saved it. This issue, the September one, is problably the most disapointed main story of the year.
The rest doesnt look too bad actualy.
