I must say that I quite like this. Edita and Sui look the best of course.

Had this been shot by Meisel... Meanwhile, they are all photoshopped to death here.

Will gladly take these ’shopped to death, highly-unattainable/unmistakably/unashamedly Super fembots any time, anywhere, any day to the plague of sickly yellow-tinged faux-raw photography nonsense of dowdy and accessible mall models.

Sorry for that, I know that when we perceive something like that our perception is never the same as before...

^^^ The arm is behind her? It’s really not that strange for arms and legs to look like they’re missing when shoots like this one demand models pose in such a hyperstyle manner. Or it’s not that uncommon in the post-production process to edit out awkward limbs peeking out of odd corners of the body. I’m sure they didn’t “forget” the missing arm.

Calendar 2020 is blissful fun. It’s everything that is frowned upon and despised by the woke plague that’s infested HF: Sexy, half-naked, impossibly sculpted (and relentlessly retouched) shiny, glittering Supers vamping and smouldering with pure bravado.

The inclusion of fashion illustrations in the style of Tony Viramontes next to centrefold spreads conjures the hedonist spirit of Francesco Scavullo, Andy Warhol, Gianni Versace and Ungaro living it up with their Supers. I can just imagine Grace’s “Slave To The Rhythm” as the soundtrack to this story. And with 48 pages to the story, you can put on the soundtrack and get lost in total bliss like it’s 1986… :sigh:

(There’s just one other fashions story but no one will care since this 48-page of decadent splendour is the only reason why anyone would pick this issue up. Good work, Luigi, Iango and Anna for this much needed dose of concentrated smoulder.)

You know I pretty much can't stand Luigi and Iango. So it says something about the current state of fashion/print when I have praise for their work! At least this editorial is fun and kind of vibrant (a partial tribute to Antonio Lopez with the integration of the sketches?).

If anything this just goes to prove how much of a goddess Edita continues to be. All her shots are stellar. My fave shots are the one of her in Noir and Joan's Versace. Doutzen also looks good throughout. Candice...has seen better days perhaps, but maybe the post-production here is weird.

Thanks for posting Zorka :flower:.

LOVE the main ed. It is so Meisel tho...

^^^ LOL This is exactly the reason why I’d wish editors have the balls to just cast an all-White cast. Because there are people that will never be satisfied until Black models are on the cover of every single issue of Vogues globally 12-month a year. And likely even then, they’ll complain that the cast still isn't dark-skinned enough— or that they’re not big enough… (BTW, VP cast 2 dark-skin Black models for the prestigious September issue— not that was too long ago.)

Looking at the shoot, it’s clear Shanelle wasn’t shot with the rest of the cast, and added in later, hence her absence from the cover.
