If there’s going to be one Vogue post-Emmanuelle worthy of keeping the smoulder and heat alive and kicking, it’s Vogue Mexico. The inclusion of the absolutely forgettable department-store flyer Vogue Hombre aside (… and dumpy dweeby Carlos Vives to boot), Mexico is such a breathe of gorgeous and sexy air in a vast ocean of frumpy and homely Vogues.

I'm not sure what Vogue Mexico is going for... It's like they can't decide who they are.

Funny, because it's actually very on-brand for Vogue Mexico. They do have the occasional sexy shoot in the magazine.
I suppose Mica's edits are ok, neither here nor there for me. It's Vogue Hombres that I find so cringe. Both covers actually.

I appreciate the inclusivity Vogue Mexico has done. They definitely make an effort to include black models now, which was unheard of just 5 years ago.

The irony is.... It's a country rooted in indigenous culture. 90% of the population has at least some mixed indigenous ancestry. Yet we see far more white and black models represented than indigenous (I can think of maybe.... 5 models? ever?)

It just makes no sense to me. I do not understand this magazine nor the image it is trying to portray.
