Vogue Paris December 2006/January 2007 : Drew Barrymore & John Galliano by Nick Knight

Shhhh:doh: I didn't check the mail today and i'm not home right now.:(
Enjoy your reading BerlinRocks!;)

I am disappointed. Vogue Paris is turning American. Oh well, seems like another issue I won't have to purchase.

Thank you for the review :flower:

forgot to add :
the beauty editorial =

traits de génie
photo : Frédérique Verley
style : Ludivine Poiblanc
make -up : Julien d'Ys
model : Agyness

(merçi dieselmax...verifie ta boîte-aux-lettres, vite!)

This is a huge dissapoinment,Drew? Why?I mean why?I can never understand why Drew is on so many prestigious covers?
There is nothing remotly interesting about her or her style.
I can name like billion models that would deserve the cover more than her.
I really hoped Erin O'connor or any other model would score the cover since Galliano is guest editor!

^ remember the magazine has to sell too. I guess Carine is heading in a more commercial direction :ninja:

^remember it's John Galliano as a guest editor!!
who was last Galliano's "muse star" : Drew! (+ just to remember others : Paris Vogue Dec/Jan issues' covers are very often with stars : Catherine Deneuve and Sofia Copolla did the covers in 2003-2004 & 2004-2005)

and by the way once again Julia's (daughter of Roitfeld) friends are in Vogue Paris. after Paris Hilton on the cover, Stravos Narchios doing "en vogue" pages, Stravos' sister Eugenie is having the "une fille, un style" pages for the Dec/Jan 2006-2007

That really makes me sad i guess Franca is the only editor that is truly into fashion first!:innocent:

I know but I'm sure Carine has the last word...But I also mention it because of Paris Hilton's cover..

Drew Barrymore!?! Eurgh what a huge disappointment. Vogue Paris has been a real letdown lately in terms of the choice of cover stars.

I'm not exactly delighted by the choice of models in the eds either, Gisele seems to be everywhere at the moment and it's getting a little tiresome.

I'm not keen on Coco Rocha but it will be interesting to see her with red hair, love the title of her ed.

The calender, however, sounds excellent. I can't complain about 12 months of Karen!

here are some previews photos :

(in order of appearance : cover, agyness' beauty editorial*2, sasha's editorial*3, hilary's editorial*3, John Galliano's personnal scrapbook*1)

by the way : me too, i'm disappointed by the cover and John's choice of Drew...but the issue is good.

Looks like a great issue. Love the David Sims and Terry Richardson. Carine always make Terry so much chicer than he is. The cover isn't bad either.
