Okay, guys, I need your help! I bought a pair of brown and a pair of red (kinda bright shade) jeans. They're like straight-leg, coloured denim. I have noooo idea what colours to wear on top. Help? I'm sorry I should have posted pictures but don't have any right now...

^ i think the red pair would be lovely with a steel grey or asphalt top. solid or subtle pattern because the pants are probably loud enough.

for the brown, if its dark espresso then powder blue is goes well. if its lighter brown then maybe a navy silk top or something to dress it up abit?

if you have white or metallic shoez do it up!

Okay, so I had to get this skirt at F21 because it was only $4 & is so cute. However, I'm not really sure what to wear with it. I'm afraid of pairing it with anything black for fear of looking too Halloweeny.... Your thoughts?

Try switching out the buttons for brass ones and wear it with a deep burgundy or cranberry top, maybe some chocolate brown tights and flat boots.

If you don't want to wear black try mixing colours like grey, brown and navy. Orange is quite loud on it's own so you might want to steer away from bright colours.

i'm going to a charity benefit and i figured i should look sophisticated since its for a good cause. i think that looks sophisticated enough but im only 18 i want to sex it up so i dont look like i just got out of a corporate job..what do i wear with it! or if anyone has any other ideas for a charity benefit appropriate outfit please let me know

after__eight: yes, that particular shade of orange is definitely loud on its own. I like orange with blue, but I think that skirt is just too loud for it. So navy blue does sound good.

I don't think the 2nd looks too summer.. the white looks cool and silvery.. 'winter white'
for the first i'd probably go with the blue shoes - they rock! and they would keep the outfit from being to black on black

Ok... there's a major christmas party that I have to go this Saturday (my bf's boss is throwing the party)...

I had this great cobalt blue dress picked out.. but put it on 2 nights ago and realized it's destroyed and the fabric is snagged in a lot of places.

Anyway!.. I bought this red dress from Bananarepublic.com... expressed it so that hopefully i'll get it by friday.

I already own the black satin shoes in the above picture..

I'm not really sure where to go with jewelry and accessories..

I was thinking a black satin headband of some sort to kind of tie the shoes in? should i wear earrings and a necklace? or just earrings?
I already have a tennis bracelet that I was going to wear with it..

... I HATE putting outfits together for nice occasions!

What kind of headband were you thinking Luna ?
I think the dress is all 'woman' an not 'little girl' so personally I don't know if I'd wear a headband (at least not the kind of headband that automatically pops into my mind..) ..I'd probably make 'oomph' hair instead (big ol' curlers) a la Veronica Lake.. chandelier'ish earrings but no necklace..the dress doesn't need it IMO.
